"Hello again, human." The shock from these words makes you jump so high you nearly gore the ceiling. It takes you a second to remember the owner of that voice, the minotaur from yesterday. You close the door and turn on the light. Sam gasps a little when she sees a second bull-man, but she regains her composure, she's getting used to being around minotaurs apparently.
The other minotaur, standing in the middle of your living room beside a huge wooden chest, begins to speak again, "Sorry to startle you. And sorry that the labyrinth sent you so far away from home, I need to work on my aim."
"Well, thanks for stopping by, but why are you here?" you ask.
"I tried to find a way to change you back, but the labyrinth's magic can't undo the spell. The human form is amazingly easy to shape, but it's hard to reverse the change."
"So I'm stuck like this?" you ask with growing sorrow.
"Not necessarily. The maze won't undo the change, but I have associates who can. It will just take a while to contact them. But I brought you a gift, to make up for all you've had to endure."
He opens the chest and reveals its contents; clothing meant for your new form. There are more loincloths, but also kilts and pants built for your bovine legs with a space for you tail. For your torso, there are a variety of vests and shirts, all sized for you. Additionally, there are a few cloaks. At least you'll be a stylish minotaur.
"I also brought you this", he says as he hands you a large axe. "In case you need protection", he adds.
"Finally, I found this little trinket. I thought you could use this to blend in with your kind better." He hands you a golden medallion, its surface inscribed with strange symbols. "If you wear that, others will see you as a human. But they will only 'see' you as human. If they touch you, they will feel your true form and the illusion will end for them, so try to limit personal contact. This is all I can do for now."
Your visitor then disappears in a swirl of green mist. You try to process everything he said. Sam's voice brings you back to the present, "We should figure this out in the morning, I don't know about you, but I need some sleep."
