"Please, please!" sobbed Duncan "I'll marry you! I'll do anything! Just please, turn me back!"
Esmarela stared at his pleading, tear-filled eyes. "Anything?" she asked.
"Anything.." whimpered Duncan
"All right, I'll give you a chance." replied Esmarelda "I have a special assignment for you. If you sucseed I'll turn you back. If you fail, you'll soon become a full wolf and lose your humanity forever. The same thing will happen if you try to do a runner."
