"The gates are locked." said Drew. He tugged on them with more force so they would rattle and creak to help illustrate his point.
Luke glanced along the north side of the long and high wooden fence. Several meters up he could make out a pile of debris stacked against it.
"Lets just climb over that and hop the fence eh?" He said smiling at Drew and motioning over his shoulder to the pile of old boards and trash. He was quite pleased with his discovery.
The two men walked their bikes on to the soft leaf covered forest floor, feeling their hard bike shoes squish gently in to the moist earth. their wheels ratchetted making rhythmic clicks and pops.
Leaning them up against a tree they climbed the pile of junk carefully, wobbling on the loose boards and old garbage somebody had been piling up here for years.
They gazed over the fence and then hopped down on the other side landing hard.
