Jen had a little time before the bus showed up so she went to the kitchen for some food. There was a leftover fish sandwich in the fridge. 30 minutes later the bus arrived. She was on her way to the door when she fell over. She could not move her legs. Her feet hurt real bad. When she took her shoes and socks off she found that her feet had become fins. They were blue, flat and completely boneless. However she could not afford to miss anymore school. Jen put her shoes back on, uncomfortably, and tried to stand up. Her fins made it impossible to stand up. The blue scales had spread up to her knees. She had to cover it up. Jen crawled back to her room and put on some sweatpants. She crawled down to the garage to get her dead grandmother's electric wheelchair.
