Both yourself and the evil hot dog vendor are caught completely off guard by the sudden
appearance of your second head. The new you is shouting in your ear, demanding
answers from the poor evil hot dog vendor, and even you feel intimidated of yourself. Or
rather, your extra self. It really doesn't help that, with the elongated neck, your second
head is slightly taller than you are. It makes you - that is, your second you - that extra bit
more scary.
Your attention is diverted by a second buildup of gastric agony. Your mind latches onto
the crazy idea that it was the previous belch that may have caused your split personality,
and focus all your attention on keeping your mouth shut. Your other head, seemingly
unaffected by the pain, continues to demand answers from the evil hot dog vendor. The
evil hot dog vendor, still bewildered at the unplanned turn of events, continues babbling
incoherently, which only makes your second head shout louder. Make the madness stop
already!
frrrrrrrrrrrrt
Well, you managed to keep your mouth shut - but this time the built-up forces escaped
out the back way. You feel slightly embarrassed and excuse yourself, but neither you nor
the evil hot dog vendor seem to have noticed enough to care. They're both still deeply
engaged in their one-sided little debate.
While their attention is still on each other, your attention is again drawn away. This time,
it's the extreme discomfort in your pants that's distracting you. It feels like there's
something that's been shoved down the back of your left pantleg which comes snaking
down to just below your knee. You shake your left leg to try and kick whatever it is out,
but whatever it is, it's stuck. You also notice that your leg feels noticeably shorter than it
did just a moment ago. You give your right leg a kick, too, and yes - it also feels
somewhat stumpy. Strange that you don't seem to be any shorter...
You look down, and see that there's a gap between your T-shirt and baggy jeans that
wasn't there before. Your body must have gotten longer to compensate for your legs
getting shorter...? Your extended abdominal area also exhibits a pattern of scales, similar
to the ones you noticed on your other neck.
What on Earth is going on?
