You once again take off running leaving the poor boy to his fate. You race through the maze and come around a corner.
You stop dead in your tracks and quickly duck back around the corner. You slowly peek around the edge of the hedge and look down the corridor. A tall beast stands beside another boy on the ground in agony. The boy’s clothes are ripping off his back as he moans. The beast beside him stands on a set of cloven hooves, his body completely covered in dark fur. A long tasseled tail swings behind him and his manhood hangs between his legs. The beast looks at his own hands which have only three massive digits on each. It feels its face, the lengthy bovine muzzle and long horns arcing straight forward.
It lets out a angry roar and bares its teeth to the sky. You quickly turn back around the corner but… You stop. You heart starts to race and you grab your chest as a stabbing pain hits you and you yelp. You quickly cover your mouth to cover your winces of pain and get feel for your face. Your nostrils have spread wide and you can feel stubble growing all across your face. “No,” you groan, “this can’t be.”
You breathe heavy and look up at the large flower in full bloom by your face. The sent is overwhelming you. You rip it off the hedge, but it burns your hand to touch it. You scream in pain and fall to your knees. Your hand trembles as your fingers meld together and thick fur spreads down your arm to the elbow, but stops there. You look at your hand, now the hand of one of the minotaurs.
