After Dinner the family moved away from the table and into the lounge, to watch T.V. Jenny decided to go upstairs and use the computer to search the web for information on the curse, she wanted to know just how permanent her current state was. By the time she’d gotten down from her chair the rest of the family were already sitting comfortably watching a random reality show that Jenny had never seen before. She poked her head round the lounge doorway and asked a sweetly as she could,
“Emily? May I use the computer?”
Her sister gave her a mocking pout in response before beckoning Jenny closer. Obediently Jenny approached, trying not to get between her family and the T.V. and stood next to her sister’s chair. The younger girl reached up and grabbed one of Jenny’s breasts and pulled the nipple into her mouth, not once taking her eyes off the T.V. Jenny groaned but could do nothing to stop her sister from happily sucking on her nipple.
After a few minutes the girl released her grip on her sister, “Yeah Slut, you can use the computer, but don’t get juice on the keyboard.”
Jenny nodded and moved as quickly as she could upstairs to her sisters room, grabbing a tissue from the box on her way passed and wiping the juice from her legs. She put a towel on the seat under her, just in case, before beginning her search online for the transform or dare curse.
After a few minutes of searching she found a few websites that gave vague descriptions of the curse and its power. Most of the sites were paranormal storyboards and treated the curse as a work of fiction and these were no help to her. What Jenny needed was a more in-depth description of what the curse could do and more importantly how to undo it.
After a frustrating 10 minute search jenny found a story that had been printed in a local magazine about a guy who had gone crazy at his high school. The report was about a geeky guy who’d arrived at school one day and claimed that he used to be the football teams star quarterback. He apparently went crazy, talking about a curse and how he couldn’t get revenge on the person that had done it to him. Jenny felt a strange compassion for the guy and started to become worried about her own well being.
At the bottom of the page was a link to another paranormal website, only this one had a link to a page detailing some of the interesting ‘myths’ surrounding the curse. Jenny clicked on the link and then found herself presented with a list of things that the curse did when used.
Skipping past the information on the limitlessness of the transformations and the dares and its ability to change the perceptions of people to not notice its effects if so desired, Jenny found herself reading a number of interesting statements.
The most intriguing to Jenny was the theory that the wording of the curse was more of a guide than a set of actual definite changes and that the curse always changed things so that they made sense. The example given was that if someone were to transform into a dog they would automatically find themselves with a dog bowl, food and a collar round their neck. She presumed it was this that had changed all of the seating arrangements and had changed her room so drastically.
The next part was more worrying to her though, it said how some versions of the story alleged that the curse could make its own changes, without instruction on its current victim. The reasoning behind it was that the curse was able to adapt to the wishes of the one who had uttered the curse and it would continue to make changes until all of that person’s wishes had been fulfilled, even if they hadn’t been said as part of the initial curse. It said that this could make minor changes to the victim’s body or existence and would always seek to enhance the original curse.
Jenny quickly turned off the screen; she desperately didn’t want that to be true.
