Steve's starting to squirm against his bonds, apparently getting rather uncomfortable with being tied to a tree, but it makes him no less talkative. "Sooooo... what are you going to do if you don't have this 'Endigus' or whatever he is?"
"INDALUS! And as I said, it matters not. We shall simply have to resort to Plan B."
"That being?"
"We may not have Indalus, but we do have some part of his essence. With the magics that flow through it, the rubber in that bucket is now endless. More than enough to change all of mankind in a... er... a tribute! Yes, a tribute to the glory that is Indalus! Perhaps when he sees that all mankind bears his mark, it will bolster him enough to allow him to return by his own volition! Steve still looks smug, and he turns his eyes on where you stand hiding in the bushes. He doesn't even start to look worried when the bring the bucket of swirling latex towards him, as he apparently expects you to be able to take on at least a dozen people, more than a few of which look like they could easily take you down in a fight.
