Lars entered the address of his own house, curious to see how detailed the game really was. At once a 3D globe began spinning and zooming in to his location, almost like Google Earth. Within 30 seconds, a detailed 3D model of his own house appeared from a bird's eye view.
Lars was amazed with the level of detail - everything was in the right spot, the picture even depicted a hole in the back yard that his father had dug the previous week in preparation for a tree that they were going to plant.
Suddenly, it occurred to Lars that he may be able to go inside like the Sims and play out a life in the game which would be much more interesting than in real life. With that idea in mind, Lars rotated the house so that his own window was in front of him, and zoomed in.
Lars gasped as he realized that the game was showing him on his computer, and a blurred version of the Virtual World game on the screen! Lars attempted to zoom in, but suddenly a warning box appeared.
'Zooming in any further may cause a memory overload due to having an infinite repeating cycle.'
Lars quickly zoomed out a little, then tried waving his arm. The Lars in the game waves his arm in real time - it was then, that Lars suddenly realized - THIS GAME WAS DEPICTING THE REAL WORLD.
Upon realizing this, Lars was tempted to whip the game out of his computer and throw it away, for fear of what might happen. However, curiosity got the better of him - Lars clicked on his character, and decided to see if he could make any changes that would also occur in real life.
