"Relax already," Stu hissed, "It won't work right if you're scared"
But Paulie was gripped by fear and nothing Stu could say would help him shake it. Paulie did what he always did. He ran.
Leaving his clothes behind, he dashed back to the window and dived out of it. But his changing body followed him. He started pulling his fur out, yelping in pain each time. Then he felt his tail shoot out of his ass. A long, thin tail, covered in dark brown fur.
"Paulie!" came Rick's voice, "Don't do anything stupid"
Paulie ran back to the hole in the fence but found he was too big to squeeze through it. Fortunately, he was big enough to climb it.
The barbed wire cut his bare skin, but he ignored it.
Now he was running between the stacks of freight containers that occupied this area of the dock. But it was giving him trouble. His feet were no longer the same. They were shorter, wider and made clopping noises as they hit the concrete.
He passed an empty guardhouse and caught his reflection in the window.
it seemed the changes had now stopped, but they were incomplete. He was halfway between his own self and buff looking bull. Like a minotaur.
He felt his huge muzzle with his fingers, and then his cup-like ears, then his long horns.
What had they done to him?
