Dean pours it all over Jake’s face, laughing and braying. Jake gags and coughs on the beer as it pours into his mouth and nose. He summons his strength and pushes Dean to the ground.
“HA HA HAW HEE HAW HEE HAW,” Dean brays, but doesn’t get back up. He plants his hooved feet down and then his newly formed hooved hands. Dean just brays as his body changes shape and fills out into a full donkey’s hide and torso. The new donkey kicks the pants off his feet and starts braying wildly. Jake coughs and spits out the beer forced upon him horrified at what happened to Dean.
But Dean wouldn’t be alone. There were several boys collapsing to the ground and into their new donkey shapes. Jake took refuge against his cart as boys started kicking and braying all over the streets. “This can’t be real,” Jake cried, “this can’t BEE HAW HEE.” Jake grabs his face and starts to breathe heavily. “No, not me too, I did what I was supposed to do,” Dean cried. He looked all around the park and saw nothing but donkeys and boys who would be donkeys very soon.
Jake didn’t know what to do, what could he do, he was scared and tired, and so thirsty all of a sudden. Jake looked over at the beer on the cart. He tried to shake the thoughts out of his head, but he couldn’t. He looked at the tap and pulled the handle down filling a mug. Jake looked at the mug, with a slight smile and drank it. He swallowed gulp after gulp and then finished. He smiled and laughed as he started to change rather quickly. First Jake’s ears grew long and pointed and brown fur started to grow on his neck.
He ripped off the jump suit and grabbed another cup full of beer. He drank it down so fast, that he chocked on it slightly. He coughed for a moment, leaning forward as a tail ripped through the back of his pants. “Hahahah HEE HAW HEE HAW hahhah,” he laughed and reached for another glass, but it fell to the ground. Jake tried for another one, but it got knocked over, too. He looked at his hand which had formed into a thick brown hoof. He quickly sobered up and looked at his other hand. He got to see it only for a moment as it tightened up into a fist and hardened into a hoof. “No, Noooo,” he cried and began pawing at the cart. He was the only partial boy left, nothing but donkeys were braying all around him.
“Help me, someone, HAW HELp HAW HEE,” Jake fell to his hooves and groaned as his face stretched outward. “I don’t wanna be a doonnkkkEE HAW HEE HAW. I’m a… goodd…. Bbbbbaawww HEE HAW HEE HAW.” Jake starts to kick his legs up, throwing his shoes to the air as his feet stretched into hooves. His body filled out with brown fur and his hide grew in. A few more brays, and he was just another donkey, just another missing child.
