“Come on man, you can’t leave me here by myself,” Jake pleads. “Then come with me, no amount of money is worth this,” Dean says. Then a new crowd of boys starts lining up. “Last chance Jake,” Dean smiles. “No, I’m staying,” Jake scowls. Dean just shrugs and grabs a beer from the cart. Jake watches as Dean chugs it down and runs off into the park.
The line never seems to end now as boys start getting really aggressive. “What’s the hold up,” one yells, “I’ll just get it myself.” A boy pushes Jake out of the way and several boys raid the cart. Jake just stands back and watches the anarchy until the kegs are empty. The boys all grumble and leave the cart, torn all apart. Jake sighs and flips the red switch. In a moment, a new cart pulls up, but the people working the cart aren’t boys, they’re grown up men, and they’re dressed normally. They quickly change the cart and don’t say a word to Jake. He looks around as boys start lining up again and he pours them their drinks.
As the day went on, Jake was feeling very fatigued. He started hearing things in the crowd. Like donkey brays, but he just figured it was the park getting to him until a boy came up asking for beer. Jake couldn’t stop staring at the boy’s ears. They were about four inches long and pointed. “Hey, how about my beer, kid,” the boy yelled. Jake just nodded and poured him a glass. The boy drank it and ran back out into the crowd.
But that wasn’t the last strange sight he’d see. Several other boys came up with pointed ears, some even longer than the first boys. A few other boys and brown hair growing on their arms and legs, and some others had long fleshy tails sticking out of their pants. But they didn’t seem to care, or notice. They just kept going around the park and acting like fools.
Jake didn’t know what to do. He looked around and there were no longer any normal looking boys, except for himself. Then he got scared and started feeling his face and body, but everything was normal. He sighed relief as boys came up asking for more beer. “Um, coming right up,” Jake said with a half smile.
Boys started getting worse and worse. Some of them who came up to Jake, could barely speak. Their voices were deep and hoarse. Some boys hands and feet and started turning dark and hardening into thick masses. And their faces, Jake was terrified as their nostrils were wide across their faces and their lips thick and dark.
“HAW HEE HAW Jake, I’d thought you’d HEE HAW be gone by now,” a voice came, but was barely understandable. Jake turned around and saw a boy he didn’t recognize, but how could he, he looked more like a donkey than a boy. “WAW haven’t you come and HAWD fun with us yet?” Jake just looked at the boy, “D..Dean?”
“HAHAHAWHEEHAWHHEE, yeah, who else would it beE HAW,” Dean struggled. Dean was in bad shape, his head looked like it was that of a donkey. His feet had formed into hooves and his pants kept slipping down. Dean was holding them up with his hands, with difficulty as they were balling into fists. He had no skin visible, just dark brown fur, and a thick mane running down his back.
“Jake, come AWWn. Have a beer with me,” Dean laughed. Jake shook his head, “no, look what’s happening to you, Dean.” Dean took a step forward, “this is for your own good Jake, you need to HAW HEE HAW loosen up.” Dean grabs a beer, this his thick fist, letting his pants fall to the ground. He pushes into Jake’s face and…
