In the dark room, the only thing that Andrew could make out was the soft glow from the screen of the game. It appeared to be an older game although it still was odd that it would be down here he thought to himself. Upon further examination he discovered an "Out of Order" sign hanging loosely from the coin box, which answered one question. He looked down, scanning for the coin or card slot and noticed that the locking mechanism to the inside looked very worn. Andrew made a mental note of this and stood up for a moment, watching and waiting for the startup screen to cycle through it's promotional video.
The title screen came back briefly accompanied by a grandiose score following up the opening graphic with a dark looking forest and a sword leaning against a rock with the words "Treasure Hunters" appearing on screen in ornate golden letters. This did look cool he thought to himself and saw the screen flash suddenly changing to a 2D scene with a human character in knights' gear walking and fighting hordes of hyena beasts, all the while collecting fallen treasures periodically and bringing up a sub-menu to use flashy special spell attacks. It went back to the main screen and then once more flashed, this time displaying a different level. It was a dank cave, with the walls suddenly and brightening illuminating the pile of gold in the background, also showing the angry giant red dragon which awoke and assaulted the would be adventurer.
