Kent and Peter were standing on the sidewalk in front of Ty and Dustin’s house when it suddenly dawned on Kent that he had the ability to change Peter’s size.
“You know what? I have this feeling that… I can change your size!” Kent wondered out loud, as he stared at Peter just as Peter started to walk towards the front door.
Of course, Prince had just increased Kent’s powers, but neither of them knew that for Prince didn’t allow himself to be seen. But Kent felt something different about him.
“What are you talking about?” Peter replied.
Suddenly, Peter was overcome by an intense tingling feeling throughout his entire body! Then, without any warning at all, he rapidly started to shrink! Within five seconds, Peter shrunk down from his usual 6 foot 3 inches in height to barely one foot in height! Luckily his clothes shrunk along with him, so he wasn’t standing on the concrete sidewalk completely naked. It only took five seconds for Peter’s body to dwindle down to barely 12 inches in height!
“Whaaaaaaaaahhh!!!” Peter shouted, as he suddenly saw the street, the house, the garden, the plants, the bushes, the grass, and even his best friend Kent grow much and much larger before him, to the point where everything around him appeared to be gigantic!
Peter looked up when the shrinking abruptly stopped. His mouth dropped wide open when he saw Kent towering over him as a giant who was as big as the Empire State Building!
“Ooooh my gosh…” Kent stuttered. “P-P-Peter? D-D-Did I do that? Ooooh I shrunk you too much! You’re so… So TINY!”
“Kent!” Peter shouted, as he stood there looking up to his giant friend. “What did you do to me? I’m a MIDGET!”
“Awww, Peter. You’re so small!” Kent chuckled as he bent down. “You’re like one of my action figures!”
Peter suddenly became frightened when he saw the giant boy bend over. Kent seemed as tall as a building to him, and he became afraid that Kent was going to step on him.
“Don’t step on me, Kent!” Peter shouted. “Watch where you’re going!”
“Alright, alright… Let me try to grow you back…” Kent chuckled as he took a step back.
Suddenly, Peter was overcome by that same intense tingling feeling again! This time, he started to GROW! His body shot up and expanded rapidly! Peter saw everything around him shrink as his legs, arms, and torso expanded in every direction at the same time, thanks to Kent’s wonderful powers! Unfortunately, Kent grew him too much, and Peter continued to grow past his 6 foot 3 height! He was 7 feet tall… 8 feet… 9 feet… When his growth stopped, Peter was almost 10 feet tall!
“Uh oh” Kent sighed. “I grew him too much again!” he said, as he looked up at Peter, who was now towering over him this time.
Peter looked around and realized that he had become the giant this time.
“KENT! I’M TOO BIG!” his voice boomed. Peter looked down and saw that he was almost twice as tall as Kent!
“Holy cow! I need to get this power under control! It’s just too easy to change you, Peter!” Kent replied sadly. “I just need to practice resizing your body some more…”
“DON’T USE SO MUCH POWER!” Peter suggested.
“I know! I can’t help it! It’s just SO easy for me to change you now! Okay, let me concentrate…” Kent said, as he took a deep breath as he concentrated on shrinking Peter back down again.
This time, Peter started to shrink again, very slowly.
“EASY DOES IT, KENT….” Peter said, as he gradually dwindled down to 8 feet tall. After a few moments, Peter was back down to 6 feet tall again.
“Hey! You passed my height! I’m supposed to be 6 foot 3!” Peter protested, when he realized that he was shorter than his normal height.
“Aww… Come on… I can make you any height I want!” Kent said. “I want you to be shorter than me…”
“Oh alright, alright…” Peter sighed. “You’re the one with the power… I can’t stop you…”
“That’s right! I can also shrink you back to 3 inches tall, you know!” Kent laughed.
“Well, that will be an interesting experience for me…” Peter sighed.
“Don’t worry! I’ll take care of you, no matter what size you are!” Kent said, as he walked towards the door. Peter, who was now 5 feet tall, walked behind him, as he looked up to Kent, who was now a few inches taller. They were best friends, so he really didn’t mind.
“Let’s go inside. I need to practice resizing you some more!” Kent chuckled. “It’s safer inside!”
Peter just grinned as he closed the door.
