"Ty and Dustin must be out." Peter said when they entered their home and saw that no one was there.
"Great! Now I can resize you without any danger!" Kent said and Peter felt how his body (and his clothes) were shrinking again!
"Wait!" he said, but his voice already sounded like a smurf! Kent made him only 1-inch tall.
"Don't worry dude. I'm only practising. I can make you bigger ag..."
"Silence!" Peter suddenly said. "Do you feel it?"
Kent had to bent down in order to hear his best friend's voice. "Feel what? I don't hear anything..."
"It's seems like a mini-earthquake..." Peter said.
"Mini-earthquake? Don't make me laugh! I don't feel any rumble." Kent chuckled.
Suddenly a mouse appeared running very fast. The mouse was bigger than Peter, of course.
"Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! A MONSTER!" Peter said scared and started to run.
"Peter, wait!" Kent said, but his best friend didn't seem to hear him.
Peter tried to run as fast as he could, but he was too small and the mouse was getting closer. When he thought that the mouse was going to eat him, the animal went by without stopping and continued running over the parquet. Peter fell on his knees and gasped.
"That was close." he thought and when he lost sight of the mouse...
"Meeeeooooowww!" a miaow sounded very near from there. He turned and saw and even bigger black cat running to him again.
"KEEEENT!!!! HELP MEE!!!" Peter said. Fortunately, he was very near from the sofa. He quickly ran there and hid behind a leg. He was safe there, the cat couldn't go through that small hole and he could see everything on the living room. But..
"MEEEIIAAOWW!" the cat also went by. Peter took a deep breath when he saw the giant cat running in front of him.
After the long miaow, there was silence. Peter lost sight of the cat too.
"Ke... Kent?" Peter tried to call his friend, but he knew that his voice was too low. He left from under the sofa. When he looked at where he and his friend were some seconds ago, he discovered that Kent had dissapeared!
"Kent! Where are you!?" Peter screamed. "This is not funny! Please make me big again!"
"Hahahaha..." someone laughing sounded behind Peter. He turned and saw the giant mouse again.
"Aaaahhhh!" Peter screamed. "Please don't hurt me!"
"Peter, calm down! It's me... Ty!" the mouse said laughing.
"WHAT!?" Peter stopped screaming. "Ty... Is that really you!?"
"Yes, sorry for scaring you, cousin. I only pretended to play a joke on you."
"And... and what about the cat?" Peter wondered.
"Don't you recognize me, Peter?" the cat appeared behind Peter. That voice sounded familiar...
"Kent!" Peter said.
The talking cat and mouse started to talk.
"I was on my room when I saw you coming in. Kent shrank you, then I had got an idea. I could turn into a mouse and scare you." Ty said. It was incredible to see a mouse talking and laughing in front of Peter.
"Then you started running. When Ty cut in front of me, he quickly turned me into a cat and I played along with him."
"It was very funny!" both laughed.
"It was NOT funny, dudes. I thought I was going to be eaten." Peter said annoyed.
"Don't be so boring, cousin!" Ty said.
"Make me big again, please."
"Ok." Kent felt guilty.
Suddenly all of them started to grow again. When Peter felt human-sized again, he noticed that Ty and Kent were still mouse and cat. They seemed a mix between humans and animals, and looked like cartoon versions of a mouse and a cat. Ty had the same height as a kindergarten, had white fur, a big muzzle and ears and a long tail. Kent was taller (cats are bigger than mice, of course), he looked like a teenager. He had black fur, and shiny yellow eyes. Both of them were naked, swinging their 'cool' tails and standing on two legs like humans.
"Will you forgive us?" Ty said. He was still smiling, but knew that Peter didn't enjoy that, so he felt guilty too.
Peter finally grinned. "I will forgive you if..."
