Dan came home from work and found Sean crying. He had noticed Sean had been acting "different" for a few months now. Sometimes Sean would act really bitchy over the stupidest things. "No of course I'm not ok -" Sean started, then stopped himself, realizing he was attacking when he saw something in Dan's eyes he hand't seen before. Genuine love. Sean stared crying again. "Oh, I'm sorry Dan. I've been so fucked up lately..."
Dan put a consoling arm around Sean. "Hey, I love you... whatever it is, you can tell me." Dan surprised himself, but the words just came out naturally. He didn't understand, but somehow he knew it was true and that it had to be said now.
Sean stopped crying, and looked Dan in the eyes. "Dude... you... you love me?" Sean felt a mixture of emotions bubbling inside. "But you're a guy... and I'm a guy... and..."
Dan sighed happily, shaking his head. Then like a dam breaking, the words started gushing out and Dan simply couldn't stop himself. "I know, I know... I can't make any sense of it either, and to be honest... wow... I can't believe I'm telling you this, but... it's really true... I do love you, I just know how I feel. I don't know if that makes me gay, I mean at first it was just your pussy I liked - I mean, you know, I'm a guy... and you're a guy... and I'm not gay. Or, well, I don't know what I am now. All I know is... I love you Sean, and whatever it is, I want to help... I want us to be together." "I love you too, Dan." Sean leaned forward and kissed Dan tenderly on the lips. Dan returned the kiss, Sean's touch was electric. Something about Sean had definately changed... he just seemed... well... glowing. Sean sat back, gazing into Dan's eyes, with a lovesick smile, but also with a little fear in his eyes. "I have something to tell you Dan... and it's going to change our lives."
"What is it," Dan asked, concern growing. Sean hesitated, but Dan pushed, "Please, you can tell me, whatever it is we'll get through it together."
Sean had never cried and laughed with joy at the same time before... but he did now. "I'm pregnant, Dan."
Dan sat in shock for a moment. He felt a little dizzy, almost as if his entire life was passing before him. Then the dots started connecting, and everything made sense. He sat in stunned quiet for a whole minute.
"Dan?" Sean asked, now feeling more anxious. "Please say something."
