"This is a joke, right?" It had to be. The curse wasn't real. "Okay, Kyle, you got me. You've totally succeeded in creeping me out. You've made your point. I'm sorry that I pantsed you."
"I'm glad to hear I've gotten through to you, Jenny," said Kyle. "But it's too little, too late. Your insincere apologies fall on deaf ears now. You've made your bed, and now you can lie in it."
"What do you mean?" asked Jennifer nervously.
"Transform or Dare is not a joke. It's real. And, since you haven't answered me in the minute you were given, you get both."
Jennifer's heart nearly jumped out of her chest. Something inside told her she'd just made an awful mistake. "What... what are you going to do to me?"
Kyle laughed, sensing the terror in Jenny's voice. She finally understood. "I've been watching you around school, Jenny, and I've seen the way you treat others. I know you've been a megabitch to a lot of other people besides me. It wouldn't be fair of me to take revenge on you all for myself. Instead, I'm going to be generous and give everyone who wants to a chance to get back at you.
For your transformation, I want you to become a shapeshifter. You will be able to assume any form instantly, but only on demand by others. And you will remain sentient at all times; you will retain the ability to see, hear and feel, and speak when the form you have taken has a mouth. When you do not have a mouth, you will only be able to communicate with the person controlling you. And, to ensure that everyone has the opportunity to share control of you, you will only maintain each form for a maximum of five hours, after which you will turn back to your normal form and it will be somebody else's turn."
"You... you can't be serious..." interjeted Jennifer.
"Oh, but I am, Jenny. Serious as a heart attack. And for your dare, you're going to help me get back at your other friends who pantsed me. There were four of you: Alexa Mayes, Kelly Willis, Cassie Sheridan, and yourself. I dare you to use your Transform or Dare on Alexa. If she chooses Transform, you will turn her into a shapehifter like yourself, with the condition that she will be able to stop changing forms if she passes on my curse to Kelly. If she chooses Dare, you will dare her to take off all her clothes and remain naked for a whole month, and to pass on my curse to Kelly. And if she chooses neither and ends up getting both, you will pass on my curse to her exactly as I have given it to you. And, of course, once the curse reaches Kelly, she must pass it on to Cassie. Ultimately, all four of you will be cursed."
Jennifer was stunned. "You're asking me to betray my friends?"
"I'm not asking you, Jenny-- I'm forcing you." Kyle paused. "Oh, and, by the way..."
"What now?" asked Jennifer. "What else can you possibly do to ruin my life?"
"I'm taking my turn first... and you just inadvertantly gave me the perfect idea when you said you couldn't find your undies," answered Kyle smugly. "Jenny, turn into a pair of panties."
Before she even had a chance to react, Jennifer felt herself shrinking down and becoming soft like fabric. As her hands melted away, she dropped the phone. She and her clothing collapsed in a heap. Without even being able to say a word, she had turned into a pair of black silk panties trimmed with lace... and with all her clothing piled around her, it would have looked to any outside observer as if she had simply vanished.
Kyle's voice persisted over the phone, now on the floor. "It's a real shame I won't be able to see you this way," he said, "but I have my reasons for using my turn now. Maybe I'll get a chance to see my handiwork a little later. Goodbye, Jenny-- I'm going to school now. See you in about five hours."
