Derek felt a little more hesitant about Sonya's plan. "Here? In public?"
Sonya wasn't going to hear it. "I just turned from a duffel bag into a naked human and had to put my clothes on in the backseat of your car in a parking lot."
"Well, when you put it like that..." Derek said jokingly. Sonya hit him lightly on the shoulder. "You hit like a girl."
They were both teasing each other now. All the anger Sonya felt was evaporating at the prospect of more experimentation with the collar.
"How about we see how well you hit like one."
Derek's chuckling face dropped in a fraction of a second. "What does that mean?"
"I remember that you don't like inanimate transformations, but you like transgender transformations even less."
"Oh please no. Turn me into a dog or something, but please don't do this to me."
"I don't recall having a say in turning into your gym bag."
Derek knew there was no way to win the argument. There wasn't even a point. The collar was on him now. Whatever Sonya wanted, Sonya was going to get.
"You're gonna become my sister. My little sister. Age seven sounds about right."
"Aww, come on, Sonya...anything but--!" Derek's throat seized up for a second. He coughed. "Anything but--!" This time, he stopped himself when he heard his voice. It was an octave higher than it should have been. "My voice!" Now it was even higher. Distinctly feminine.
Changes across the rest of his body were happening rapidly. His clothes were becoming looser and downright baggy as he shrank. He'd always dreamed of experiencing a shrink, but the reality was much more than he ever expected. He waved his shorter arms to keep his balance.
"Can this thing do clothes?" Sonya said above him. Derek looked up. She was already tall, but now she was a giant. The height difference had expanded over a foot in just a few seconds. "I'd like your clothes to shrink with you, if they can."
Immediately Derek and Sonya saw his tent-like clothes fold in on themselves and become proportional to his dwindling size. Something only Derek was aware of was happening beneath them; he felt the chilling sensation of his prepubescent scrotum dissolve into his crotch, being replaced by the vagina of a young girl. The feeling left him so queasy he almost threw up. "My...my dick is gone" he said in a sweet, tiny voice.
Sonya giggled. "That's just hilarious...but out of character. Talk more like a girl from now on."
"Damn it, Sonya, you're enjoying this too...too..." Derek tried to finish his thought, but for some reason his mind decided to shift tracks. A nagging feeling told him swearing was wrong, and he was compelled to abide by a more appropriate manner of speech. "You're bein' a big meanie, sis."
Sonya laughed aloud now. "I'm sorry-- Ha ha! I can't help it." She put a hand to her mouth, but it didn't quell her jovial outbursts.
"This stinks!" Derek complained. "Bein' a girl is weird." He tried to shuffle around in his much more compact body. His...or her...eye line was around Sonya's waist. She wasn't taller than the car anymore. She walked over to the side mirror and looked at herself. Her face had stayed mostly the same. She looked just like her old third grade photo, with some minor female alterations.
"We're not done yet," Sonya said. "First, let's grow that hair out."
Derek's scalp tingled, much like when her dragon mane had grown in the night before. She watched in the mirror as it got longer, disappearing behind her back.
"Okay, that's enough," Sonya said. Derek's hair now hung halfway to her waist.
"Done yet?" Derek asked impatiently.
"Oh, no," Sonya grinned. "Now that we know the collar can change your clothes, it's time to get dressed."
