"You need some much prettier clothes," Sonya said. "How about a nice dress? Nothing fancy. Maybe a little apron so you don't get the dress too dirty. Baby blue would probably look the best on you."
Derek felt her clothes shifting around him. He heard several thuds on the pavement and then the clatter of keys. His wallet and car keys had apparently been forced out of the reshaping mass that was once his clothing.
Soon it reconstituted itself into a blue dress with short puffy sleeves and white lace trim. The collar of the dress was tied with a pink bow. A plain white apron appeared seconds later.
"And some little white and pink sneakers. Those are your favorite." She emphasized the last word to mockingly define Derek's new girly preferences. "Oh, and we can't forget stockings and panties. I know you think they're uncomfortable, but it's important to wear them."
At Sonya's command, Derek's shoes changed into white sneakers with pink accents. Her socks elongated into white stockings and she could feel her boxers morph into a pair of girl's underwear. They felt itchy, especially the stockings. Sonya's instructions were being carried out to the letter.
Meanwhile, her "big sister" circled her, examining her handiwork. "We must do something with that hair. Maybe some braided pigtails."
Derek squirmed as she felt her hair twisting up into a pair of foot-long braids. Pink ribbons appeared at their ends.
"There! Don't you look adorable?"
Derek looked into the car mirror and sighed. She looked ridiculous. At least nobody would know who she was, but that thought was a small comfort. She felt tiny and weak. Plus her socks still itched. She bent over to scratch them.
"Be careful to keep them straight. Nobody likes a girl with wrinkled socks."
Derek grimaced. Sonya was having way too much fun. She'd have to make sure to get back at her later.
Sonya picked up Derek's keys and wallet and put them in her purse. "Let's go to the playground over there, Derek." She put her hand on Derek's back and led her across the parking lot. "Hmm...I'd look pretty silly calling you 'Derek' in front of everybody. For now let's just call you 'Darlene'."
Derek's stomach writhed at the thought of having such a girly name. They reached the park and the small playground area where several kids were running around.
"Have fun," Sonya said in an uncharacteristically cheery voice. "I'll be right over here."
"Darlene" gave a forlorn glance at her "older sister" as she walked briskly away toward a bench. She wanted to run back to the car and stay there until Sonya gave in and agreed to end this farce. Knowing Sonya, though, she'd probably make an even bigger scene out of it and then she'd really be humiliated. It was wisest to just do what she was told. "Besides," she started to convince herself, "When was the last time you got to just cut loose and play around like this?"
She took a look around. There were two kids on the swings, with one swing empty. Three were playing on the large jungle gym, and the slide was deserted. She took a deep breath and walked toward...
