After a few minutes of clicking at random she managed to pull up a menu labeled 'mythical' from there she found things to be a bit more understandable. There was a whole list of mythical creatures to chose from and she selected 'centaur'. This opened up a whole new set of options, and she focused on each in turn. First was horse breed, and she chose 'Appaloosa' a window came up asking her to select coat pattern and she clicked on 'blanket' since she was pretty sure that was the standard pattern most people associated with that breed of horse. From there the options were more strange, things like 'change time' 'duration', 'alter reality' and 'subject awareness'. For these she selected 'instantaneous', 'permanent', 'yes' and 'no' in that order since those were the first options for each of the categories.
Not sure of what this all meant she looked for a way to finish whatever it was she was doing and found the option to 'save and apply'. Figuring that it was the only way to see what she had accomplished she clicked that option and waited for the program to do something. If the results were interesting she would keep playing around, if not she might try again later to see if she could figure out exactly what the program was supposed to do.
The screen flashed and a window came up stating 'changes saved'. It closed on its own and another came up 'changes applied' followed an instant later by 'reality adjusted'.
When nothing else happened she shrugged and flicked her tail. Whatever the program was supposed to do she clearly hadn't figured it out. She could work on that later though, being cooped up in her dorm room so long had her restless and wanting to go stretch her legs, since were tired from keeping still for so long. Getting up was difficult in such a small room and it took her several tries. She didn't want to knock anything off her desk or get her tail tangled in something.
She nearly bumped her head on the ceiling when she stood up, but bent down just in time. That the ceiling was so low was really annoying, but it was something that she had to deal with.
Bending down as far as she could she ducked out of the door and carefully turned around in the hall, her hooves slipping slightly on the tiled floor. Her stopped when her hind quarters hit the opposite wall and from there very carefully made her way down the hall to the door.
Once outside she let out a sigh of relief, never before had it been such an ordeal, but never before had she felt such a need to get out and stretch her legs. More than anything she just wanted to get out and run. She walked across campus to get to the area of woods behind the football field. For some reason running there seemed like the best place, even though she had never been there before.
On the way there she met up with one of her friends, Melissa, and stopped to greet her.
Melissa smiled and looked up at her, "Hey, how's it going?"
"Alright I guess. I've had a bad week, but now I'm just going to go for an run and try and enjoy the weekend," Jessica shrugged, not sure exactly why she was feeling the way that she was.
"Yeah, I know how that goes," Melissa shrugged, "But even if you don't feel good, you should know you look great. Did get a new shirt or get your hair done or something?"
Jessica looked down at the shirt she was wearing, which was one she had had since the start of the semester and then back over her lower body. Below the waist she had the body of a well muscled horse, rich brown fur starting just below her navel and giving way to a patch of white fur with brown spots on her rump. Nothing about her looked all that different in her opinion.
