Carrie walked almost randomly down the streets, looking for something in the so-called lycanthropic district to jump out at her as what she was looking for, and had little luck initially.
After arbitrary turns down random streets, she'd almost given up hope, until she saw a small storefront, utterly unremarkable in appearance, save for the name of the business emblazoned on the door, "Wolf While You Wait".
"Well," Carrie said to herself, "This is probably my best shot yet." She tried the door, and found it opened easily. Walking through, she found herself in a very sterile looking office, not unlike the waiting room for a doctor's practice.
A young woman looked up from behind a desk marked, "Reception". "Hello, ma'am, may I help you?" she asked, sounding both friendly and professional.
"Umm, yeah, hi," Carrie said, unable to help feeling self-conscious, "I...umm, I'm kind of looking for a way to become a werewolf. Am..am I even in the right place?"
The girl smiled at her again, "Absolutely, ma'am. Here at Wolf While You Wait, we offer a number of solutions for the tourist wishing to add a bit of a wild touch to their vacation."
"I really look like a tourist, do I?" Carrie asked, blushing slightly.
"It's not so much THAT, ma'am. Really, it's just that a resident would already know about our service, as we've got a pretty heavy ad campaign going on right now," the girl replied, "Now, how can I help you?"
"Well..ummm...I want to...surprise my husband. Werewolves are kind of his...ummm..THING," Carrie said, still feeling rather uncomfortable. She knew she wasn't really being judged, but still felt the need to justify her reasons for being here.
"Don't worry ma'am, even if it was your fetish, noone here would care. All of us have undergone some form of werewolf treatment here," the girl said.
"Werewolf...treatment?" Carrie asked, "I thought you had to bite someone to make them a werewolf."
"Maybe in your standard dimension it's that way, but here in Toonworld, we've been pioneering new ways to transform into werewolves as quickly as people can come up with illustrations of them," the girl said, grinning. "I mean, yes, if you're wanting a 'traditional' experience," she made the finger quotes on 'traditional', "we can facilitate that for you, but we don't offer that on site. We've found that the majority of people don't want that. We do, however, offer a wide range of options for someone like yourself. Would you like to hear more?"
