"Yeah," Carrie said, feeling more comfortable. The girl's mannerisms really had put her at ease, and hearing that she didn't have to get bitten (and possibly eaten) calmed her moreso. "I'd like to learn more."
"Great," said the girl, "Let me just take you to a consultation room, and someone will be with you in like two minutes. Follow me." The girl gestured for Carrie to follow her, leading Carrie into the back, where there were several doors, eventually stopping at one marked, "Consultation A,".
"Just go on in, and like I said, someone will be with you in a couple minutes," the receptionist said, "And thank you for choosing us for your transformation needs."
Carrie walked in, finding it to be a relatively small room, decorated with several posters of people, and then their werewolf forms in a "before" and "after" style presentation. There were a couple of chairs and a small couch to sit on, and Carrie decided to simply take a chair and wait, after having examined the pictures that showed happy people looking even happier transformed.
True to the receptionist's word, a couple minutes later, (if that) a woman dressed in a lab coat entered the room. "Hello," she said warmly, "I'm Doctor Thompson; I understand you're thinking of letting us fix you up?"
"Err...I was actually hoping to get more information before I made any rash decisions, Doctor," Carrie said, feeling slightly uncomfortable. Where the receptionist had been very non-threatening, this woman seemed to have a certain edge to her mannerisms. She was clearly a very dominant personality, and Carrie felt a little cowed by her.
"Oh, absolutely, absolutely," the doctor said, "Now, we offer a wide range of treatments, and all of them are VERY affordable. Now, may I ask, what are you looking for, in terms of lycanthropy?"
"Well, see, it's really more of a thing my husband's into. I mean, as far as what type...errr...a werewolf?" Carrie said, more than a little confused.
"No, no, no, my dear ummm..I'm sorry, I never got your name?" Doctor Thompson asked.
"Oh, it's Carrie," Carrie replied, noticing the doctor making a note on a small pad.
"Well, let me just give you the rundown, because there's more than one SORT of werewolf you can become. We've got the Teen Wolf package, that's the one our receptionist Gina has. It's pretty minor for the women. Your eyes change, ears get big, you get fangs, talons, and a bit of fur on your face, arms, and legs. Your head undergoes some minor reshaping, but it's very minor. Two of the bigger attractions to this are that your clothing stays entirely intact, and all of our Teen Wolf treatment recipients control time and duration of the shift. The downside is that it really can look like a Halloween costume to someone who doesn't see you change, and for a lot of our clientele, it's not enough, if you understand me. On the other hand, for someone who wants to be the non-threatening or cute style of werewolf, it's perfect," Doctor Thompson said, "If that sounds like what you're looking for, we can get Gina in here to give you a live demonstration and make arrangements to have you ready to howl in just a few minutes.
