[Note: I am not this branch’s original author, and this is my first CYOC post]
Dan looked at his watch again. It was ‘half past four, and he had found nothing. He
checked the trees and bushes, asked the local hunting range if they
heard anything strange, and finally gave up behind a large boulder facing a small cave. He
had heard that the cave was actually like a long, twisting slide
that led to nowhere, and was filled with so much bat excrements that it was unsafe to
explore.
Regardless, the boulder gave him shade from the harsh sun t, as he needed to take a
breather. Dan took out his
backpack and inspected what he had put there earlier.
He looked past his lunch and his laptop until he found the huge stash books.
“Hmmm, let’s see what do we have here?”
It was a decent stack of manga, however most of the covers displayed a moody
teenager behind a giant robots, as well as a couple of other different
ones that he had borrowed out of the library, or borrowed from his friend Sam.
“ It’s just you and me Domon,” As he began rereading another G-Gundam volume
“ I can’t believe I was the only person at school who even bothered to look for Sam
and her friends. It’s been days and nobody’s caring at all.”
He had just read a chapter where Domon practices Tai Chi under a waterfall. Dan
recognized the stance; it was called “Moving hands like clouds”.
This reminded him to practice for a little while.
“Deep breaths, Dan, soften, breath, and reflect the energy, just like in Naruto”
Those thoughts vanished as he began to get lost in his meditation, and then he
slipped.
He grabbed his bag as he felt himself soon tilting into the unknown cave.
like a light.

“Hu-uhhh…?”
Dan quickly regained consciousness. His back was against a cold, metallic object, and all
around him was an open field.
A large river was also on the horizon. Getting to his feet, he felt the object, and discovered
it had shape. Looking at it his jaw dropped.
It was a real RX-78. The exact same mobile suit Amuro Ray piloted. It was buried up to it's
torso in dirt and was very grimy, but Dan blacked out too fast
to care.
When he woke up, a familiar sight startled him again.
“ D-D-DDD-Domon Kashu!!!”
Domon startled and said
“ So you know my name too then? Well, I’d be best if you came with me. Rain, get this
thing out of the dirt.”
“Rain? Holy crap, and you! And this RX-78 too-!”
“So then you own this one…”
“I guess, sorta’, can I try it out later?”
“Fine by me”
After a long ride back to their camp, the transport stopped and the windows came
down.
Looking at the covers of his manga stash, his jaw dropped again as he heard…
"Tatsu! Summoning Jutsu!"
