Early next morning, Jen was still trying to stand up, though not to catch Hiei. She was desperate to get to her pot. Finally, she stood up staggeringly.
"Okay, now the hard part nya." said Jen. She walked with a lot of difficulty to her pot.
"So, your up. Now, can you hit me? I wonder... huh?" said Hiei. He was surprised to notice that Jen wasn't looking at him at all, but at a pot of soil. Jen finally made it to the pot and slipped her middle tail into it. She collapsed with a loud crash.
Several hours later...
"You think she'll ever wake up?" asked Botan.
"She'll have to if she wants those weights to come off." said Sam. "Wait, she's coming to."
"Uhhhh... I slept well nya." said Jen. She stood up with a little difficulty.
"You certainly got up faster than last time, but are you able to catch me? I doubt it." said Hiei.
"I was just tired nya. Didn't have enough chakra to light a match with nya, but now I'm well rested nya." Jen charged at Hiei as fast as she could but Hiei vanished. He reappeared behind her.
"Oh please, you think it would've been that easy. And all I did was step gently to the left. You'll have to try harder than that." said Hiei. Jen turned around.
"I'll keep going all day if I have to nya." said Jen. They kept at it all day. Jen was constantly charging at Hiei, only to see him vanish at the last second.
"Dinner!" yelled Sam.
"Oh boy nya! Fish!" said Jen. She ran over to the fire and grabbed the fish. "Mmmm, you know nya, I never realized that seafood was so good nya. I wonder why I never tried it before nya?"
"Because you weren't a cat before." said a familiar voice from behind.
"Sakura?! What're you doing here nya? Who're your friends back there nya?" asked Jen.
"Those guys are friends of Hiei's. They're also here to train you." said Sakura.
"Yusuke Urameshi, Kazuma Kuwabara, Kurama, and Genkai! It's nice to finally meet you. So you're here to train Jen?" yelled Sam.
"AHHH! What is that?!" yelled Kuwabara.
"Hmm, seems to be a phoenix, cat, and human chimara." said Kurama.
"Hissss! I'm not a museum exhibit nya! I'm a person!" said Jen.
"Well, she certainly has an attitude. What's your name little girl?" asked Kurama.
"Nya, my name's Jen, and I'm not a little girl nya! I'm a teenager." said Jen.
"Jen, so you're the ninja we're supposed to train. I should've gathered that from the weights you're wearing." said Kurama.
"So what, is she some kind of demon or something? Maybe I should arrest her for indescent exposure or something." said Yusuke. He squeezed one of Jen's breasts. "Kinda small ain't ya." Jen's face turned red. She gathered chakra in her hand.
"Nya, take this you pervert! Rasengan!" yelled Jen. She slammed the Rasengan into his stomach and he went flying into the river.
"That's quite a powerful attack miss Jen. Rasengan was it. Where'd you learn it?" asked Kurama.
"From him nya." said Jen. She pointed at Naruto. "You're such a gentlemen nya." said Jen purring. She blushed.
"Ok that's enough. We're going to continue now!" demanded Hiei.
"Right nya." said Jen. She charged at him. He dodged. They kept at it for about an hour.
"I... can't... continue nya. Maybe... just a little... catnap nya." said Jen. She fell to the ground with a thud and fell asleep. Sakura put the end of her middle tail into the pot.
"Why did you put her tail in their?" asked Kurama.
"Oh, she's part plant too. She needs the soil or she'll be comatose." said Sakura.
"Such a pitiful excuse for soil. I'll be back." said Kurama.
"Where you going?" asked Sakura.
"Let's just say I have a bit of a green thumb." said Kurama.
"Why didn't Jen change today?" asked Rain.
"You didn't notice? Her personality, she's acting more and more like a cat." said Domon.
Kurama came back an hour later. He was holding something.
"What'cha got there?" asked Sam.
"A pot made from clay I found in a riverbed, filled with soil mixed from a few different layers of dirt I found underground. There's a little bit of sand for retaining moisture, ashes for nutrients, and some grains of quartz for magnifying sunlight, as well as top soil for freshness." said Kurama. She took Jen's tail out of the old pot and put it in the new one. Five minutes later, she woke up.
"Wow, I feel so refreshed nya!" said Jen. She vanished. All of a sudden, Hiei went flying. "Finally got'cha nya!" said Jen. She began licking her hand and rubbing it on her face.
"Well, you got me. Here's the key." said Hiei. He threw the key to Jen and she unlocked the bands on her arms, waist, and front legs.
"Could someone unlock my hind legs please nya?" asked Jen. Kurama took the key and unlocked the weights. "Much better nya! Now what?" asked Jen.
"You need to learn proper sword handling." said Hiei.
