Days, and eventually weeks, have passed since your initial transformation, and you are still working inside the mansion.
"Christine!" someone called out as you walked down a hall. You jerked your head around and saw that it was the Master's 22-year-old son.
"Oh, Little Master," you said, turning around fully and bowing, "what may I do for you?"
"Please, I've told you not to call me that," he replied, shaking his head. "Call me Don. Anyway, I'm going out pretty soon, could you get me my coat?"
"Certainly," you said, and headed toward the closet.
In the weeks since you assumed the role of Christine the maid, you had developed a few concerns. The first was that, of course, your planned investigations had turned up nothing so far. It may have been that there was nothing to find in here after all. But your main problem was with your original plan; following your work schedule exactly didn't allow for the full investigation that you had hoped for, and you were unable to come up with a new plan to work around it.
You grabbed Don's coat from the closet, and quickly returned to him.
"Thank you, Christine. That will be all."
"Have a good day, Master Don," you said, bowing again. He smiled at you and walked away.
The other major concern was that, strangely, you were getting too used to acting like one of the maids. In addition to doing whatever work was asked of you, the mannerisms you had originally picked up to help blend in were starting to become habit. There had even been occasions that you considered dropping the search altogether and accepting your new life as Christine.
You wondered, how long you could keep up this act? Or if it had finally become more than an act at this point?
