The rays of the morning sun shone through the window as Andrea called out to you. "Christine! Time to get up!"
Your eyes slowly opened, and you put a hand up in front of them to block the bright sunlight. "Come on, we've got a lot of work to do today," Andrea said.
You climbed out of bed and quickly got dressed, as did Andrea. You then washed and applied your makeup. You found that you applied it quite expertly, leading you to believe that some residual knowledge from the maid personality still remained in your head.
"Let's go," said Andrea, and she gestured toward the door.
The Master was waiting in the entrance hall, and he smiled upon seeing the two of you walking by. "Ah, there you are," he said. "You are cleaning the library this morning, I believe."
"Yes, sir," Andrea said. You both bowed your heads and left for the Library.
Your plan of investigation was swirling through your head as you walked. To be able to blend in and not be noticed, you'd have to do all of the work that was asked of you. You hoped that you'd be able to scope out each location as you did your work. The plan would be put to its first test right now.

The library's walls were lined with books. You wondered what kind of information these books contained.
Andrea interrupted your chain of thought by handing you a feather duster. "It's mostly dusting for us in here today. Let's make sure we do a good job."
Looking into Andrea's eyes, you felt a strange sense of duty. Even though your own main goal was to find a way to get your own body back, you knew it wouldn't be right to disappoint her, or the Master, by doing a bad job of cleaning. You were going to do the best you could.
Making your way to the first bookshelf, you took note of the titles of the books. You were hoping to find some books about magic, that could help you in your quest. But as you thoroughly dusted the shelves, you found mostly novels and books dealing with historical subjects.
The shelves seemed to fly by as you dusted, and you found nothing that could be of any help to you. Feeling somewhat dejected, you moved on to the tables and lamps, continuing to dust them until they were perfectly clean.
Once you were done, you and Andrea stood in the middle of the room, surveying your work. "Well, looks like another job well done!" she said. You beamed with pride, despite your internal disappointment over not finding anything in your investigation.
"Well, let's get going," Andrea said, looking at the clock. "Felicia told me yesterday that she was going to need some help with the kitchen."
The kitchen? There wasn't bound to be much that could help you there, you thought. Unless they kept some kind of magic transformation food in there, you were totally out of luck.

Upon arriving at the kitchen, you met up with another maid whom you assumed was Felicia. She handed you a bucket and a scrubbing brush, telling you to help her scrub the floor.
And so, you soon found yourself on your knees, scrubbing away. You couldn't help but feel humiliated at what you had now been reduced to, a powerless girl in a skimpy maid outfit scrubbing floors. You glanced up at your new colleagues, who were also hard at work. They had no idea that you had once been a man; as far as they knew, you had always been one of them.
You quickly told yourself that you had to stay positive. There had to be a way to change back, you were sure of it. As your cleaning took you near the cabinets, you shot a few quick peeks inside them, hoping to see some kind of potion or something inside. No such luck.
Despite your slowly mounting frustration, you scrubbed the floor very thoroughly. Perhaps it was that sense of duty you had felt earlier, or your fear of somehow being exposed if you did a bad job, or even your pride, which also kept you believing that you could find a solution to this mess. Whatever it was, it made Andrea and Felicia very happy when you were finally done.
"Wow, this place looks great!" Felicia said. "You two have been such a big help, thank you so much!"
"Just doing our job," Andrea replied. "But I think it's about time for our break. Come on, Chris, let's find a place to relax."
You looked at the shiny, spotless floor one more time, admiring your work. You actually made a pretty good maid, you thought for a second, before angrily clearing that thought from your mind. You then ran off to join Andrea.
