Amy relaxes and walks towards the shopkeeper, "I give up."
The shopkeeper smiles and walks towards her. As he closes in, Amy looks at her paws and feels her round and furry ears. Tears run down her face as she looks at the shopkeeper.
"Shhh," he smiles warmly, wrapping the collar around her neck, "soon it won't hurt anymore."
The shopkeeper buckles the collar and starts to ruffle Amy's hair. A feeling of pleasure runs through her body, and she feels a strange warmth spread through her. She watches fur spread over her body, wonder replacing horror. She falls forward into the shopkeeper's arms as a tail pushes against the seat of her pants. As the new appendage grew out, Amy's waist and spine realigned, pushing her slowly to all fours. Each pop sent a wave of pleasure through her body.
As the fur coat thickened and then rippled up her new tail, the shopkeeper helped Amy out of her clothes. Amy looked up at him, realizing how small she had gotten. The man lowered her slowly to all fours, something that felt strangely natural to the girl turned skunk.
As the last of the changes took hold, the man once again ruffled the fur on her head. As he did, Amy felt an odd haziness in her mind, as if something was being pushed away. Thoughts of home and friends were pushed away to make room for memories of the forest and a warm den.
As the man released the skunk, he smiled knowing very little of the girl remained.
"That's a good pet."
