A whistle blows at 2:00pm sharp as a massive ferry arrives. Jake and Dean can hear the clamor of boys and girls on the ferry from all the way inside the park. The main gates open and the teens plow into the park. They immediately start heading for rides and, of course, the several beer carts. Jake and Dean have their hands full keeping the kegs tapped, as boys and girls fill their own cups and move on. “Man,” Dean starts, “I didn’t hear him say anything about a break, did you?” Jake shakes his head and taps the next keg.
Several cute teen girls point and laugh at them in their outfits as they fill up on beer and move on. Jake and Dean continue working hard into the late afternoon. “Hey, I have to hit the bathroom,” Jake points. “Okay, but hurry back, cause then I gotta go,” Dean laughs. Jake moves through the crowd of increasingly rowdy teens to one of the bathrooms. He takes care of business and walks out to the roar of a roller coaster. He looks up and sees it’s the same one that Derek and the other boys had been on.
He watches as groups of boys and girls get on the cars and are rocketed off through the loop and into the tunnel. Jake looked and saw that empty cars kept arriving. He walked all around the ride, and couldn’t find anywhere for it to exit.
He kept walking until he reached a wooden plank fence. Some of the ride was concealed on the other side, but Jake couldn’t see through the planks. He looks around and then jumps and grabs the top of the fence. He pulls and kicks his feet on the fence to peek over the top. His eyes go wide as he sees a large coral filled with donkeys. Near by, several men were inspecting the donkeys and removing pieces of clothing from their bodies.
“Hey,” a voice comes and Jake loses his grip. He breaks a piece of the fence off and falls to the ground, landing on his back. He looks up and sees that it’s Dean. “This doesn’t look like the bathroom,” Dean growls. Jake catches his breath from the fall. “Dean… I …. I…. Was…right..” Jake gasps. Then a suited man walks over to them. “Well what are you boys up to?” Dean looks over at the man. “Um, nothing, we were looking for the bathroom.” The man looks at Jake and the piece of broken fence. “Uh huh,” the man scowls. He reaches for his walkie and says something in audible. “Dean…run… get away,” Jake groans trying to stand.
The man in red appears almost out of no where, “well hello boys, how goes the day?” Jake tries to sit up but gets dizzy. “Um, good I guess,” Dean speaks for him. “Oh, good to hear. You know, you boys look like you could use a break. How about a little fun? A ride maybe?” Dean lights up, “awesome, really?” “Of course, we’ll just help your friend along, shall we?” Several men come and grab Jake who struggles slightly. “Oh, um.. sure.. but, he fell,” Dean stammers as the man leads him. “He’ll be fine, just got the wind knocked out of him. Ah, here we are.” Dean and Jake look up at the massive roller coaster from last night. “N…nnoo,” Jake gasps. The man in red gestures for his men to move him and he leads Dean to the front of the line. “No wait, how’s that?” the man laughs. Several other boys and girls get in separate cars and Dean gets in one, too. “Now, you boys enjoy yourself, and I’ll see you real soon.” Jake tries to get loose, but the handle bars come down around him. “Nooooooo,” he yells as the ride takes off.
