"Well, I kind of want to go to the pool and swim a few laps." Ryan replied said.
"What!" Jeremy exclaimed, "We now are identical twin with abilities that let us transform into anyone or thing we want, and you want to go swimming!?!?"
"Well since you were the best swimmer on the team, I wanted to try to see if I now had your swimming ability or just half of it." Ryan calmly replied.
"Fine, but I'll go with you though because I am curious about that myself." Within minutes, both of the brothers were ready and headed out to the car. "I'll drive" Jeremy happily said.
Ryan complained, "But you don't even know how."
"Not according to this." Jeremy happily replied as he waved his license with their identical face on it. Ryan reluctantly agreed as he climbed into the front passenger seat. The drive to their school ended up taking much longer because Jeremy was pulled over for 'California stopping' at a stop sign. Luckily, he was let off with a warning and the two made it to the school with no more surprises.
Jeremy and Ryan began heading to the pool when they saw that it was closed. "Dang Bro, I thought you said before that the pool was open on Saturdays for swimmers to practice." Ryan said.
Jeremy responded with a smile, "It is." Jeremy took out a key and unlocked the door. "After you."
"Where did you get the key to the pool?" Ryan asked.
"One of the swimmers is the coach’s son, and he made keys for us using his dad's. Now come on let’s have a race!" Jeremy responded.
Jeremy and Ryan took their places at the starting blocks and Jeremy began, "On the count of three okay."
"One"
"Two"
"Three"
Both of them dived into the pool at same time, and began swimming. As they swam, it became quite clear that neither of them was the faster one. After a few laps, however, something began to happen to them. They were both starting to feel that familiar shock, but all over their body. Panicking a bit, Ryan yelled to his brother, "Lets head for the stairs and get out." The shock was beginning to be unbearable as they reached the steps.
Wobbling and using each other for support, they crawled out and lay down side by side on their chests. Their bathing suites had somehow melted or fell off because they were naked. The shock was still there all over their bodies, and they fell unconscious because of the pain.
After a few minutes, Ryan woke up. He stayed lying there for a few moments thankful that the pain finally went away. He then tried to stand up, but found that his right side was numb, and that his vision was a blurry. He lifted his head up a bit to see if he could make out his brother's blurry body, and when he turned his head to the right, he noticed what looked like his brother snuggled up close. "Jeremy, can you hear me; are you alright?" He asked.
Jeremy began to stir and Ryan felt his body move as Jeremy began to move. He asked again, "Are you alright bro?"
"Yeah," came a response, "But I my vision is a little blurry, and my left side is all numb."
"That shock, whatever it was did a number on us. Let’s get up and head home before anything else happens." Ryan said.
Jeremy replied with a grunt, but as they struggled to get up they realized something was very wrong. As they managed to lift their chest off the ground; Ryan began pulling to his left and ended up pulling both of them onto their back. That's when they were able to see that something had happened to them again. They saw that there was only one body with their two heads sharing the shoulders, side by side.
"Oh boy, not what are we going to do." they said in unision.
