As Tom sits and stares at the computer, desperately trying to remember how the program worked and what it was, a door to his apartment opened and in walked his girlfriend. Tom turned to her and tried to ask for help, but all that came out where meows.
His girlfriend immediately walked over to the computer and scooped up Tom. Carrying the tabby cat Tom had become to the next room, she told him, "Tanya! You know about jumping up on things, especially the computer," and promptly dumped him in the spare bedroom, which was now furnished for two cats. Behind, him, his girlfriend closes the door and Tom begins to try and figure out a way out of the room, but before he can think, his girlfriends back, this time depositing Missy.
Sighing, Tom climbs the cat stand and lays down on the top piece, wanting to figure how to end this cat induced nightmare. Below him, Missy has begun to fiddle with the window and before long, she has it opened far enough she can squeeze out.

Meanwhile, Tom's now ex-girlfriend sat down at the computer and looked at the screen. She'd gotten the Chronivac in the mail, but didn't remembering ordering it. On the screen, she sees that Tanya had hit some buttons, bringing up her profile and setting it up so she'd morph into a human male named Tom. Wondering what buttons Tanya had pushed to get the program to respond in this manner, she asks herself, "What would happen if I turned Tanya into a human male? Or for that matter, Missy?" Sitting back, she let her thoughts wander.
In the end, she told herself, "Sarah, it's just not worth the risk. Besides, you've got a real cute boyfriend already" and his the button to close the program.
Immediately a message flashed that said 'Save changes?' to which Sarah clicked no, thinking there had been no changes. A second message told her 'All changes will be permanent. Proceed?' which struck Sarah as being an odd question, but she clicked yes and the computer program began to run through a shut down process.
When it had finished, Sarah found herself looking at the start up screen for the Chronivac. As she looked at, she though to herself, "Who should I alter, if this program can do as it says. The snobby bitch at work? My weird little brother, who's still in high school? Maybe one of my friends? Maybe myself?" Unable to think of an answer, Sarah reclined back in the desk chair, trying to think of who'd make an excellent guinea pig for this program.

Meanwhile, Tom sat bolt upright where he'd fallen asleep. Without thinking about it, he began to wash himself and it was only when he started to wash, did he notice the cat collars; one for identification and one for fleas and ticks.
Sitting there, Tom tried to think, but all he could think was the he was hungry. And when he tried to remember his name, all that came to mind was that his owner called her Tanya. Going back to grooming, Tom/Tanya thought to herself, "I think I may be in trouble," as she began to groom her fur coat.
