Tiffany pointed out, "You need to roll the dice for a 3." Katie breathed a sigh of relief as she looked down and picked up the die. She heard the TV trying to get her attention, and thought that if that annoying theme tune was going to be stuck in her head, she could at least enjoy it. Toddler TV was number two on the dice, she checked the list to confirm. She rolled the dice, and it spun to a stop with a single dot facing upwards.
Katie opened her mouth to say "two", but Tiffany was already speaking. "Now you're four years old, and you have wet accidents in your pull-ups."
As Katie felt herself getting smaller still, she looked down and saw that her baby diapers had changed into something which, to a four year old at least, could be called big-kid pants. The disney princess on the front waved cheerfully, and Katie found that she felt oddly proud on realizing that the fresh pull-up was dry too.
"Aww," Tiffany smiled, "you're so cute." She didn't know what had changed about the game - maybe it was the sight of toddler Katie in toddler pants - but it didn't seem quite so weird now.
"Yep," Katie grinned, just like a real precocious little kid, "I'm cute and all growed up." She pointed at the flower design on her panties, feeling a real pride at being potty trained again after her few minutes in diapers. Unfortunately for her pride, she realised at just that moment that she needed to pee quite badly, and that asking her grown-up friend Tiffany to help her down from the chair would make a big dent in her self-esteem. She pondered this for a few long heartbeats, while Tiffany cooed "Aren't you a big little girl", but I seemed a four year old brain wasn't too good at planning.
Katie panicked for a moment, wondering whether it would be better to ask for help getting down so she could go potty like the big girl she so wanted to be, or to put down a black card and grow up.
She didn't want to cheat any more than she had already, but ... and the dilemma was resolved as her bladder released its contents and the flower designs printed on the crotch of her pull-up started to fade.
Tiffany blushed almost as much as her friend, hastily plucking a card from the deck and trying to pretend she hadn't seen her friend's accident. As the older one, really, she had to be supportive. And she wanted to distract Katie before the little kid started crying.
