Upon further inspection of the car, the police officer finds that there is no license or registration for this vehicle. So he couldn't very well search for the real owner so it could be returned to them. He was impressed that the car was in such good condition, it looked like it was brand new! Someone probably kept it in their garage. And this kid he had in his cruiser was going to have a time explaining this one. It was obviously stolen, and without any records on it, how could he find out what had happened?
Luckily, that wasn't his problem. So he called for a wrecker. Twenty minutes later, he was loaded up and hauled away to the impound, pending an investigation. Good ol' boy Jacob, is hauled to the lockup for his DUI and GTA.
After a rather short investigation the next day, the car was found to NOT belong to the residents at the address given, so Aaron, unbeknownst to everyone, is added as a last minute addition to the auction the following day. This was going to be a long week for the classic Plymouth musclecar. Who knows where he'll end up, or what will happen afterwards? A quick salvage title is drawn up so they can have one ready for the auction. ...poor guy... And it's probably a good thing that lonely Aaron doesn't know what's happening, parked in a garage somewhere with no one around but a lot attendant officer who walks around jangling keys at odd hours of the night...
