Status Reminder
1. Kari - Fuzzy armed, stealth bonus against Earth King's followers, captured by Earth King's enemies (current turn)
2. Richie - Ten years old, hawk eyes, Naga
3. Angel - Hawk eyes, has potion of speed, in heat (lose next turn)
4. Darwin - Naga
5. Ester - Vixen, Forest Guardian (trapped in forest), forest camo, in heat (lose next turn)
6. Micha - Desert Sultan's eight year old daughter (trapped in desert, movement cut in half), becomes a half human half scorpion creature every other turn
Richie looked at the dice for a moment. "Now don't screw me over this time!"
Kari couldn't help but chuckle, "Maybe yelling at the dice isn't the best way to get them to behave."
Richie just shrugged and tossed the dice to the board. They skittered along and came up showing boxcars. "Well, that's a good sign I guess." He moves his piece along the board towards Kari's and stops right in the same space as her. A card popping out of the board by him.
Richie took the card and read it over once to himself, a small smile forming. Kari by now was leaning forward, "What? It's good right?"
Richie shrugged. "Not really, I'm just glad it's not another curse." He laughs a bit at that himself, none of the others really joining in. "Sorry. It says: You come across a trapped ally and decide to help. you find a discarded set of armor from the earth king's enemies and put it on."
He set the card down, and sure enough, armor began to materialize on Richie, a breastplate and gauntlets to be precise. They didn't fit him really at all, but then he shuddered, gripping his middle.
Scales began to recede, once again revealing pink skin as his face took on a more human appearance. His snake tail faded away, and as it split apart to form legs once more, a pair of greaves appeared as well as a pair of baggy pants that probably went with the armor. His body began to grow again, seemingly going through puberty once again as he aged, but when his hair started coming in, it was too thick and tan in color, spreading all over his entire body, until he basically had a coat of fur. His form began to grow more muscular, much more so than he was before, he could almost pass as a body builder, not even the fur truly hiding any definition.
His face once again pulled out into a muzzle, but this one was blocky, a filled with sharp teeth, especially two large fangs. The hair on his head turned a dark brown and grew out, and down under his chin into a wild mane, as his ears pulled to the top on his head. When he came to he noticed Angel and Ester string at him, practically panting. The others were staring but for different reasons. "At least I'm not a kid anymore." He snatched at another card that popped out of the board, flipping it over. "Your disguise helps you rescue your companion, roll the dice again and move both pieces that many spaces. You will receive no further cards this turn." Richie picked up the dice and rolled them, only 6, but he moves his and Kari's pieces six space to the ocean, nearly to the edge of the Earth King's domain.
Angel moves to pick up the dice, barely able to concentrate because of Richie. But as she reached for them they tumbled over towards Darwin. Darwin nodded as he picked them up. "Lost your turn remember?" Angel sighed, nodding as Darwin tossed the dice...
