He found, to his surprise the Rais was smiling at him.
"Sorry I had to surprise you like that, Jeff, but the spell would only have been hindered if you thought you didn't want this."
Jeff was still feeling his new form in awe.
Rais chuckled softly. "Do you have anything to say about magic now?"
Jeff looked up at him. "This is incredible! I feel the best I have in years. What happens now?"
Rais smiled. Well, the best familiars are pets, so you will need to be an animal. But, since you're willing, I suppose you can choose."
