After Harry had approached Jen about being a magical girl Jen told Allison about it. Of course Jen had told Allison what Akira/Akane had told her about boys being transformed. Allison said that they should tread carefully with boys. Akira/Akane had said that they would be human if they were human before but he/she didn't say if they would still be a boy. Though it seemed like Harry would be happy with being a girl.
The month had passed and Jen and Allison had received their necklaces back after promising to use good judgment on what they took on from now on. The next day Jen called Harry and invited him over. Now they were in Jen and Allison's room. Allison looked at Harry and asked "Why do you want to be a magical girl?"
"Because it would be exciting and fun" Harry had said with an excited gleam in his eyes.
Both Allison and Jen flinched at Harry's words. They knew first hand that being a magical girl wasn't exactly fun. Allison looked at Harry with pity in her eyes and said "You have the wrong impression."
"All the girls in the manga have fun" Harry said.
"Do you look at the battles?" Allison asked.
"Of course" Harry said. "They have fun during battles too. Who wouldn't?"
"You haven't looked at them closely then" Allison said. "Do you have fun when you get hurt?"
"No one does" Harry said. "But magical girls don't get hurt."
Allison pulled her shirt down exposing her shoulder to Harry. It hadn't fully healed yet but she didn't need the sling anymore. It was scabbed and would likely leave scars. Allison saw the look in Harry's eyes that said he was thinking that it had hurt and he was right. She waited while he got a good look then said "I got this by being stupid. We went up against demonic wolves that were way out of our league. I was bitten. I didn't even get the chance to move."
"You're a magical girl though aren't you?" Harry asked seriously.
"I am" Allison said.
"And you got hurt?" Harry asked.
"I did" Allison said. "Do you still want to be a magical girl?"
Harry thought for a minute and then said "Yes."
"Grab my necklace with me" Jen said. As soon as he did she said "This is you."
A glow spread over Harry from the necklace. When it faded there was a noticeable difference in him. His face looked more like a girl's and his hair had grown down to just below his upper back. He reached down to his groin and felt it through they fabric of his jeans. A smile spread across his face and he said in a slightly higher voice "I'm a girl now."
"Well that answers what happens with boys" Allison said.
Suddenly Marry appeared in the room with a white cat by her side. She smiled and said "I'm back. Everyone, this is Shaela. She's my familiar."
There was a slight guilty look about Marry so Allison asked "Do your parents know?"
"I snuck out" Marry said looking down.
Jen wrapped Marry into a big hug and said "I missed you."
Marry returned the hug and said "Me too."
"Not to break this up but I need to train you girls" Shaela said. "There are four of you now and you need some training before you try to take on anything. Really, it was irresponsible of you to go after those demonic wolves. Hmm... we need more space to train." Her eyes glowed gold and they were all transported to someplace else. It looked like a large park. "Now then" Shaela said. "First thing you need to know is when and when not to fight. You were outclassed during your first fight. You should have been able to sense that. Did any of you sense that?"
"Um I wasn't there" Harry said.
"And what is your name young lady?" Shaela asked.
"It's Harry" Harry said. "Though I should have a girl's name now."
"Hmm..." Shaela said in thought. "How about Harriette?"
"That sounds fine" Harry said.
"Then it's settled" Shaela said. "I know that you weren't there Harriette. Now you three!" she barked looking at Jen, Allison, and Marry. "Did you sense that you were outclassed?"
All three of them shook their heads and Shaela sighed. "I see I have a lot to teach you" she said. "Now pay attention! Your lessons begin now!"
