Jen was about to make a wish when she remembered what Kyle had said. Dammit! She ran off, not bothering to get her shoes. At least while she had the ring, Kyle couldn't make more wishes.
But there was no way to contain the damage he had done. Or was there?
First things first, she had to put distance between her and Kyle. She thought about her car, but there was no way she could drive; she couldn't even reach the pedals! Oddly, she still had her car keys, wondering exactly how the ring worked. None of the other girls seemed to notice anything had changed about their lives...so why did she?
She made her away across the athletic field towards the junior high. It had been awhile since she'd been there, but the place was still the same. She slipped in one of the back doors, and hid behind the gym, where the theatre supplies were kept.
She had fond memories of school plays; too bad they didn't have plays at the high school, she'd loved to act. The last one they had done was "South Pacific"; sure it was sappy, but she'd loved it.
Ah, enough of that. There were boys here, and the girls all seemed normal for their ages, so apparently Kyle's reach had it's limits. She'd wait until school was out, then she'd sneak into the girl's locker rooms in the gym and steal some clothes. With sweats and a baggy shirt to hide her figure, she could pass for a kid no problem; her current outfit would never do.
She kept having disturbing thoughts about other girls. Even if she could figure out how to make wishes with the ring, it occured to her she had no desire to stop being a lesbian. It seemed perfectly natural to her, if a bit naughty.
She retained enough of her old self to be annoyed by that, but at least she was pretty sure she could get a date.
But again, she realized she'd been somewhat resistant to the ring...maybe because she'd been there when Kyle used the Transform or Dare curse to make it?
Oh hell. He'd never passed the curse on! That meant she had to definitely stay off Kyle's radar. What's worse, that was the only bit of magic she knew of that could counter the ring.
Heck, if he tricked someone else like he'd tricked her, he could get another ring...and that would be the end of her.
There had to be something she could do, but what?
