Officer Brian Murphy was strolling down the strret when a hysterical screaming Carrie ran into him.
After the child calmed down,she told her story.She had been given this magical bracelet and been driven home three days ago by a Mr Greene.
First thing she wanted to do was eat,so she'd dashed into the kitchen,openned the cupboard door expecting to see boxes of Corn Flakes.
Instead she found herself looking at a skull with a candle on top of it.Around the skull were bottles with dead toads floating in alcohol,one labelled dead mens eyes and one with the title Cackle of a Hag.
She had slammed the door shut,and when she reopenned it where the skull had been was a stuffed teddy bear,and the bottles had been replaced with boxes of cereal and salad dressing.
She decided to forgo supper that night.She also decided not to try out the bracelet.
Till this morning when she went downstairs ,held a charm and said
"Judy,change one minute into a big black cow"
Well her stepmom had writhed and twisted and burst out of her nightdress as she expanded into the form of a cow,
Then things went wrong.There was a series of pops and her dad had run in asking what was the matter.As soon as her hand touched his he groaned,fell to all fours and expanded into a bull.
She had run upstairs and hid in her bedroom,where Tabby and Fluffy were.Tabby had lept into her lap and yowled as his fur fell out,his spine lengthened and he turned into a snake,
Fluffy had been next,at which point she fled outside.She had already fed the goldfish that morning,and as she watched they twisted and warped and their snouts pulled out and filled with teeth as they turned into sharks.
Surely Rover was still alright?
he was,but the minute he saw her he rushed up and leapt up onto her.and promptly squealed in shock as he grew and expanded into a 300 lb komodo dragon.
Then it grew dark and smelly and noisy and she ran away.
After she finished her story she noticed that the officer hadn't turned into a bull.
They walked hand in hand down the street back to her house.Except for a slight off smell everything appeared normal.Rover barked,Tabby meowed and the gold fish swam in the pond.
The sun shone and there was no weird music coming from the DVD player.
They entered and found Judy ,Norm.Ruthbert and three middle eastern guests at the table.There was no sign of cows in the kitchen or anything else.
Judy and Norm laughed when Officer Murphy told them Carries story.
"the child has an overactive imaginatio officer,don't believe everything she tells you'
"now run along with Jeannie to the backyard Carrie,and play"
While the two girls ran out to play in the sandbox,Norm introduced his business partner Mr Haziz Shezerade and his wife Jasmine.
Officer Murphy wanted to know what the business was.
"Oh exotic spices and herbs"said Judy.
