It seemed like the process was shorter every time. Kalvin barely had time to let out a startled yelp before he succumbed to the tingling sensation engulfing his body and passed out. The three girls watched as he began to shrink. They watched him become as short as them, but he didn't stop there. By the time they slipped into unconsciousness, he was only four feet tall.
But it still didn't stop. Kalvin kept shrinking, and as he shrank, he began to change in other ways. Like the others before him, his body became curvier and more feminine, the flesh underneath his nipples expanding into full-fledged breasts. His privates followed suit, leaving Kalvin fully a girl. Her hair grew out to midway down her back, changing from dark brown to dark blue. Finally, four sky-blue, translucent dragonfly wings sprouted from her back, the blue glow receding just as she reached six inches tall.
Dawn awoke with a start. It had happened again! Poor Kalvin...where was he? She? Dawn looked around the room before finally spotting a tiny figure on the examination table. Sliding over, she saw that it was a tiny pixie-girl, with blue hair and wings, as naked as the rest of them had been post-transformation. She prodded gently at the unconscious girl.
Kalvin groaned. Who was shoving him? Was that Mom trying to get him out of bed? No, wait, he had gotten out of bed already. Unless maybe he had dreamed that? He rolled over, trying to get back to sleep...
...and rolled directly onto something that should not be there. Or rather, two somethings. That woke him up pretty quick. He sat up and stared down at his chest. Only it was her chest now. Even in her groggy state, it was obvious what had happened. She cupped her naked breasts gently. "It-it can't be," she whispered. "It just can't..."
"Kalvin? You okay?"
She looked up. It was one of the girls who had had the book, the naga. But why was she so big? Kalvin took another look at her surroundings and realized the truth; Dawn hadn't gotten larger, Kalvin had gotten smaller!
"Wh-what am I?" she asked, beginning to tremble. Had she become a mythic herself? Was that how these girls had got this way?
Dawn sighed. "I'm sorry. I tried to warn you, but...you got turned into a fairy. I guess we owe you an explanation."
"Whatever it is you weren't going to tell me," Kalvin said, "I think I believe it."
