Chronivac Version 4.0

Kid Stuff

added 14 years ago O

The next morning, Alice woke feeling great. Her room had changed, the closet was no longer filled with clothes, and stuffed animals ruled the scene. Still, there were no signs of dolls or other "kid stuff", apparently in her new life, she had a more mature outlook. What little clothing she had was all silk; she found a pair of crimson silk panties she'd have loved to own in her old life, and grabbed her new kimono. She found the bathroom empty, but with signs of use; her mother still worked mornings it seemed.

A quick shower (the warm water felt amazing on her sensitive young skin) would let her catch her mother before she left; she seemed to only gain memories of her new life as needed, so she had quite a few questions.

Obviously she no longer had a part-time job, which meant no money...did she have an allowance? And what about school? Going back to grade school would definitely suck, tiny as she was.

Getting dressed, she found a pair of open-toed sandals under her bed and headed downstairs. The stairs were much more challenging at this height, but as a neat side effect of her transformation, she'd gained a noticeable boost in agility, allowing her to tackle several steps at a time and land on her feet at the bottom of the staircase.

"I'll never get used to you doing that, baby. We should train you for the Olympics."

"Hey Mom, just wanted to catch you before you left."

Carol smiled at her daughter. "I know, I hate leaving you here alone."

"Ah, it's not so bad. I was thinking to take a walk, it looks great outside."

Carol nodded. "Can't keep you cooped up in here all the time, just be careful, ok? You have more to worry about than other kids your age."

"Yeah, like being beat up by a third grader!" She laughed.

"I've been wondering about martial arts classes or something...you have the speed, but is it really true size doesn't matter?"

"Oh it matters, but I think it's more about using a big guy's size against him or something...I'll look into it online while you're away."

Carol kissed her little girl on top of her head. "Ok baby, you do that. I'll be back late, you can fend for yourself...feel free to order something, ok?"

They said their goodbyes, and then Carol left.

"Hmm...not a word about school. Apparently she expects me to have the brain of a 15 year old. Maybe I've been tutored or something?"

With a shrug, the tiny girl climbed up into the computer chair and opened CHRONIVAC. This program gave her power that only gods should have...who gave it to her and why?

Unfortunately, the computer didn't have the answers, and a search for CHRONIVAC led her to some odd fetish site; apparently there were people who were into the idea of making people older or younger (and other changes)!

She researched the topic, but it seemed like a lot of the sites were old or badly maintained. Very little new material. She'd heard of this thing before; the internet allowed people with similar interests to share thoughts and ideas, and at first, communities with "interesting tastes" blossomed. But the pressures of real-life, personality clashes, and the like, cause the communities to implode, leaving behind a ghost of what they'd been.

"Kinda sad. I bet they'd sell their souls for CHRONIVAC. Hmm...so what could I really do with this baby. Need to get someone close to change them. It'd be neat to shave some more years off Mom, but she'd freak, and I don't know what changing reality would do then. Would she become my sister, or would we get a new mom...?"

She shook her head. Best save those ideas for later. She was about to give up when she noticed a menu labelled REMOTE.

"Hello, beautiful!"

The program could be linked to a "remote emitter" letting her make changes in the field, expanding CHRONIVAC's range! A few README files later, and she realized her expensive cell phone could function just fine...and just her luck, her new life had the same phone.

Browsing it, she found many contact numbers ominously absent. "Figures, all my friends are way older than me now." Alice sighed. "And kids my age are just...kids. Bleah, time for a change, then."

But what should she change?

But what should she change?
