Davis waddled toward the book, his massive body becoming increasingly difficult to move. As he approached the book of spells, Davis stumbled and fell flat on his face. He groaned and tried to roll over, in an attempt to reach the book.
Somehow the book managed to fall on the floor and Davis flopped over to it. By this time, he was nothing more than a large blob of muscle, probably weighing over 400 pounds. Davis slowly turned the pages, even his fingers failing him now, as his forearms had swelled to immense sizes.
Desperately scanning each page, he tried to find the spell to reverse the muscle growth, but couldn't find it. Eventually, he came to a spell to increase height.
"That'll do for now," he thought to himself. "I'd better do something, before the muscles in my throat close up."
Davis recited the spell and waited for it to begin working. Within a few moments, he could feel himself growing and the pressure on his body lessen. His limbs lengthened, eventually giving him the ability to move his arms and legs.
Davis slowly stood up, looking at himself in the mirror. He still had a little difficulty moving his arms and legs, but at least he had a good range of motion now. He watched as he surpassed the 6'5" mark, the height spell not slowing down at all, it seemed.
He watched as his frame filled out, as he continued inching towards the ceiling above his head. Davis' shoulders eventually grew to three feet wide, the deltoids as large as cannonballs. His arms swelled to 42" cold, while his chest, already impossibly huge, made it to 75".
Davis looked down at his legs. They stood there like twin pillars of strength, the quadricep and hamstring muscles looking more like tree trunks than leg muscles. He now had pretty good range of motion, so Davis brought one arm up and flexed, impressed at how large the muscle was now.
Finally, his growth stopped at a few inches shy of 8 feet. He looked at his reflection in the mirror. He had to weigh over 600 pounds now. He was huge! Davis turned side to side, admiring his now massive body in the mirror.
He bent down and picked up the spell book and placed it on his coffee table.
It was now a little past 8 o'clock at night and Davis was getting tired. He walked over to his bed and laid down, the mattress creaking loudly due to his increased weight. After a few minutes of lying there, the bed finally gave way and he and the bed came crashing to the floor.
Not really wanting to do anything about the mess at the moment, Davis continued to lay there, eventually drifting off to sleep.
