Richelle landed on a question mark and groaned. She knew she would have ten seconds to answer the question the board asked before it chose for her. "Well, what's my question?" she asked when the board did not immediately ask.
"So eager to find out what you'll be transformed into" the board said. "I was letting you enjoy your body a little longer."
"Get on with it" Richelle said anger evident in her voice and an ugly look on her face.
"Very well" the board said. "Animal, vegetable, or mineral? Time's up!"
"That wasn't ten seconds" Richelle said angrily. "You didn't even give me time to answer."
"You were rude by demanding that I give you your question" the board said. "You were so eager to find out what you would transform into so I decided to give you zero seconds in which to answer."
Richelle rolled her eyes and said "Fine then. What's my transformation?"
"For you I choose... Mineral!" the board said. "You are a living statue. Being a living statue three will be subtracted from your roll now. You won't win and use your wish to destroy me."
"You stupid board!" Richelle shouted. "I know better than to destroy you using the wish!"
"Since statues have no need for clothes you are unable to wear any type of clothes" the board said. "Do you want to be transformed more?"
"No" Richelle said in a one that suggested defeat.
"Good" the board said. "I knew I could break you."
"I am resigned to what you're transforming me into" Richelle said. "At least physically. You still will not be able to change me mentally."
As soon as Richelle was finished speaking her clothes disappeared. She gave out a little gasp and tried to cover up before she remembered that it was just her sorority sisters here. She felt a tingling all over her body and knew her change was beginning. Her feet became cool and heavy as they transformed from flesh and blood to granite. The feeling slowly ran up her legs. She knew that the board was purposefully drawing out the transformation to give others time to come down and be ensnared as well.
