Things were already going well for Pinky, she was about a quarter of the way through the race without any incident at all and was already in 5th place.
She had always loved to cycle, right from when she was a little clownette and her father brought her a mini-bicycle. Granted it had two wheels, but it wasn't long before the extra was taken off and she had a unicycle.
She pedaled quickly, her pink pigtails swaying back in the air as she pedaled and pedaled. She wanted to get the race over and done with so she could meet with JayJay, winning didn't matter to her, she was having fun and that's all that mattered. She slowly closed on number 39, a whiteface clown with funnels either side of her unicycle. As Pinky pulled along side her the whiteface blew into the left funnel causing air to lift up Pinky's dress. Pinky giggled and managed to hold it down, still keeping her balance, she passed number 39.
3rd place and halfway through the race, she had already started to juggle some bowling pins and was doing exceptionally well. Maybe she did stand a chance of winning this after all. she passed number 23 who was busy powdering her large clown nose so much that she didn't see Pinky passing her.
Closing in on the clownette in 1st place, Pinky knew who it was, her older sister, Candace Pines, known to most as Candy. The two sisters were very close and as a result ended up tying neck and neck for first place as both crossed the finish line giggling and smiling.
