Kai had given Ty a change of clothes, which of course, were too big for Ty to wear. It was a Pikachu t-shirt with black capri shorts. Ty reluctantly accepted Kai’s kindness while trying not to comment on the Pokemon T-shirt… Which he failed to do since he began giggling.
“You can keep those since they do not fit me anymore. It is also getting late; do you want company for the walk home?” Kai asked with a slight smile.
“Er nah, I’m fine and… So. Yeah. Pokemon? I didn’t know you were that kinda guy. Do you have a collection of anime dolls or something somewhere?” Ty snorted as he quickly exchanged shirts. What Kai said about the shirt not fitting surprised Ty. On the count of the shirt being at least three sizes bigger than what he normally wears. Then again, Kai was a pretty big guy.
“The games are fun… And no I do not have anime dolls… I do like to watch anime though, the artistic quality of some of them are simply amazing. The stories are not that bad either.” Kai began scratching the back of his head as his face turned red a bit.
“Anime sounds cool, I guess. I never really watched any of it.” Ty agreed, not wanting to make Kai feel embarrassed. “Maybe you can show me some kickass ones later or something.”
“Sure, you can come over after school tomorrow and we can watch Outlaw Star together.” Kai said as he led Ty to the front door. He opened it and ushered Ty out. Ty turned around to say goodbye to Kai, but instead, saw Gavin tackling Kai.
“You’ve gotten rusty since the last time.” Gavin said through gritted teeth while putting Kai in some sort of hold. “What did I tell you about always being prepared?”
“Uh… What’re you… Uh… Doing?” Ty asked as he watched Gavin and Kai wrestle around.
Gavin pinned Kai’s arms to the side side with his legs and sat up on Kai’s stomach to reply. “Well he should always be prepared for things that come at him! So I do this randomly throughout the day! He’s gotta be tough, you know! No son of mine’ll be a defenseless wimp!”
“Wait, what's going to attac-" Ty stopped himself before questioning a Tiger's methods of raising their son, which was probably the smartest thing Ty ever did. "Right! So… I’ll just close the door and go then. Good luck Kai!” Ty said before he began dashing back home.
Ty recalled Kai mentioning that his dad liked to wrestle; he thought it was hilarious when he actually saw it. Ty wiped his mind clean so he could try to wipe the smile off his face as well. He had to admit, he was also looking forward to spending time with Kai. Then there was school… He could use his powers to help like he had done today, or maybe knock someone down a peg or two… Thoughts about the rush he previously had when helping Gavin came back to him, making him anxious to go to school the next day.
