Nothing of interest happened in the morning, which always seemed to plague Ty's existence. If something different would just happen, then maybe the rest of the day wouldn't be so bad or bland. However, he was getting his wish this fine morning. On his way to school, he ran into a certain guy. Rather, a wall of fleshy mass that could crush a small child flat. This wall's name was Ross. Ross was a tall fellow, around 6’6” and weighed at least 270 pounds composed of fat and muscle. His face had signs of chubbiness in it, accompanied by beady brown eyes, a big nose and poorly shaven facial hair. Then there was Ross’ signature cocky grin; made of arrogance and unstraightened teeth. On top of that was a glare, not from his intense stare, but from the top of his shiny waxed dome; which all in all, was very distracting.
"Oh if it ain't my fav-or-eet friend! I'm runnin' low on cash and I need a loan. So... Pay up." Ross demanded, which was his usual procedure of choice. He always got right to the point.
"I don't have any money." Ty lied, which only caused Ross to grow red in the face.
"Don't be actin' like a greedy kike, fork it over you little shit." He barked, reeling back his fist. Ross lunged forward with the intention to punch Ty square in the face, but something had stopped him. A constriction of sorts had silently slithered around Ross' meaty wrist, causing immense pain to the bully.
"Leave him alone." A familiar voice said as he pulled Ross' arm further back, causing the bully to spin around. Surprisingly Ross was about the same size as the strong-man holding him back... Which was... Did you guess?... Kai! "I suggest you put your arm at your side, or else I might get the wrong idea that you want to start a fight. I bet you do not want such a thing, do you?
“Fuckin’ spic… Whatever the fuck you are, I’m gonna fuck your shit up so bad you’ll reg-” Ross’ outburst was cut short due to having the air knocked out of him via a swift jab to the stomach. It all happened so fast that Ross’ face froze mid sentence, followed by him into a pile of garbage bags.
"I’m grateful and all Kai. But I think you’d look way cooler in shining armor.” Ty said with a smile as he went to Kai’s side. Kai already began walking towards the school, without even giving the bully a second glance. Ty had no choice but to follow along, even though they were going to the same destination anyway.
“Well, I am sorry.” Kai curtly replied, not acknowledging Ty’s little joke. Ty noticed that Kai was not a happy camper this morning… Hell, anyone who saw Kai’s intense expression could figure that one out.
“Uh Kai, buddy, what’s the matter?” Ty bluntly asked as he put his hand on Kai’s arm, hoping Kai would take the hint to stop.
“… I…” Kai seethed, stopping for a minute to regain his composure. “I hate people like that. To clarify; people who are pick on those who are weaker than them. Then when they pick on people I care about, it just… Well, you get it… I wish people like that could get a dose of their own medicine; however, they rarely do… I would have beaten him to a pulp if we were not out in public like this.”
“Care about…?” Ty asked himself, wondering what Kai exactly meant. How DID Kai care for Ty? Then a light bulb went off before he could explore that thought any further. “Oh, you WISH that, do yooooou~?” Ty sang as he jumped in front of Kai.
“What do you mean…?”
“Uh… You know… A lil Abbra Kadabra…” Ty said as he poked his pointing fingers together.
“…He needs to learn his lesson somehow, but that seems too drastic… Then again, there is that phrase you humans have. ‘If you abuse it, you lose it’ or some such. I think it would be a good opportunity to make that phrase ring truer than before.”
“I take it that you wanna make him a punny weakling too… Er… Right?”
“That is what I was alluding to, yes.”
“Okay. And after this I will teach you how to speak, you know, like a normal high schooler. Your vocab sticks out like a sore thumb… Or like a thorn in a TIGER’S PAW. Get it? Because you’re a tiger thingie!”
Kai stared down at Ty for a few moments before applying his palm directly to his forehead. He just didn’t have it in him to correct Ty, as well as explain why Ty should not tell any more jokes. Like, ever. “Sure, whatever.” Kai agreed, following it up with a heavy sigh.
“I guess we’re gonna do this at school. There’s no one in the locker rooms till second period, so he can finally get what’s coming to him at school today! This is going to be soooo awesome and revengetastic.”
With that final made-up word, the two of them went back to Ross’ huddled mass. It seems no one noticed him, which was lucky. Kai dragged Ross’ body out of sight, and Ty used his magic to place the three of them in the Men’s Lockeroom at school. Kai put a bench between the door and the wall to stop people from entering and Ty used his powers to make Ross stick to the lockers as if he were a magnet. Ty also gagged the bully, so no one could hear him. As Ty was putting on the gag, the bully came to and began struggling only to find he couldn’t do a thing. Ross, being the biggest idiot the world has ever known, continued to struggle even though it got him no where.
“There are so many terrible things we could do! This is so exciting~!” Ty whispered loud enough so Ross could hear. It was enough to make the bully stop moving and stare at Ty.
“That is a strange way to feel about all of this. I do suppose you are right… We can do almost anything as long as it makes people pick on him more. Let us think on it for a minute so we can torture him to the fullest.” Kai said with a smirk, which made the bully freak out all over again.
