I read about the interesting work in plant and animal restructure experiments being undertaken at the P.I.B.G. After checking them out on my internet connection I saw to my surprise an employment application as part of their web. Im a few minutes the form was filled out and I E-mailed it to the address.
A yellow bell instantly showed I had mail on my Yahoo box. After adding the P.I.B.G. to my favorites I switched over to the E-mail to see who was writing me.
The letter was long and formal it was from the 'Director of Experimental Volunteers' at the Botanical Garden. As I read it my eyes went wide with surprise and delight. An offer to not only work at a realistic pay scale but be part in part with scientists. It was too good to be true!
"As an employee of P.I.B.G. you may be offered to live at the scientific station for long periods of time. The employee is considered an asset of the corperation and will conduct themselves accordingly. If asked to particapate in an experiment the employee's pay will double. Board and housing will be provided and you may after one year be considered for our special retirement group. The group is established every two years and offers permanant housing, persoal needs, and complete medical services for the rest of your life. All this while living inside the park and being a part of the
pleasurable scene."
"Wow, I think this sound like a truly friendly company!" I thought to myself.
I sent a reply quickly back to the sponser and decided to go off to bed.
As the sunrise hit my eyes the thought of my application to that job offer made me think I was too hasty in answering. After breakfast I warmed up the computer and again saw I had E-Mail.
To my surprise the letter was from a scientist at the lab in the P.I.B.G. and he was asking for me to accept a job working along side him. This was neat, I wondered if he was single and good looking as well? A girl who finds the boss worthy as a lover knows her job will continue as her pay increases.
The letter asks me to just say yes and a limo would be dispatched to pick me up this afternoon. "A limo!" this must be an important job, but why would he want me sight unseen? My education was only high school and I'm never worked in Horticulture, and don't have any skills with animals lest he noted my work with goats.
My mind went in circles but after a few minutes thought I sent the big, "YES!" in his E-mail. It wasn't ten minutes till the phone call from the Limo service and their announcement of when I was to be picked up luggage and all.
