The Limo arrived at six P.M. and the men loaded my every piece of property into the trunk of the vehicle. As I sat in the rear seat the sight of such luxury was almost unreal. The driver talked to me through a speaker attached behind his seat. I was offered to enjoy and of the wines provided and to sit back and enjoy the ride.
I peered into the oak cabinet and saw eight bottles of wine. My right hand touched three of them before taking the fourth. The green glass bottle had a easy open cork and a silver label. The only words on the label were "One Day Love In" I popped it open and began to sip.
The ride took some time to cover the hundred and fourty miles, but as the rear seat clock chimed ten P.M. we arrived.
The front of the building was less than pretty. Heavy with vines the building looked like a castle from an old 'B' class movie. I was escorted to the front desk and motioned to sign in like a hotel.
The bellhop loaded my clothes and belongings onto a cart and we were off to my room without one single word.
The room was more spacious than I ever had hoped. A balcony overlooked a well kept garden and green pastures beyond. I turned to thank the young man for his help but he was gone and only the cart remained.
At last my things were placed as I would like them to be and I felt the urge to eat something. Looking for a menu in the desk drawer the only thing offered was garden salads. I called an order for a big one and to my amazement it came right up.
Again without a single word it was delivered alone with three bottles of "One Day Love In" wine. I sat at the table near the balcony window and ate the fresh salad. As I consumed the wine it's flavor seemed to change from welcoming to downright yuck. As the clock in the hall struck midnight I was tired and crawled into my big and rather hard bed.
As I awoke it was late morning and jumping up I ran to the bathroom to ready for my first day at work. It took a while to get my hair in some order as it looked like a bad hair day for sure.
As I walked into what I'd call a livingroom the sight of another salad was set from my breakfast. I like salads but not three time a day, and even the new three bottles of wine didn't agree either.
Popping open a bottle to wash the yucky taste from my mouth I saw a envelope on the table.
