Satisfied I lay in my neighbour's living room and digested him.
Then, slowly, I realized, what I had done. I just had killed another person.
Well, Thomas had never been a very friendly one... but had he deserved
to die?
Ah, it didn't matter! I was hungry and he was tasty!
But what about my plans to be more inconspicuous? I had crushed through
two doors at my house and through the window of Thomas' house. And
after my boyfriend, Thomas was now the second victim in my immediate
neighbourhood... Earlier or later there would be questions. There would
be an investigation of the police.
Another thing occured to me: What should I tell to my boyfriend's parents,
when they called for him the next time? And what could I tell to my own
parents?
Ha! Life as a monster snake was easy! Why bother about all these human
problems?
Well, because it was my decision to continue my human life as well.
To have a cover, if I was hunted by the other creatures... To be able
to think about everything from time to time... To feel compassion?
Pah! Compassion was such a weak and human thing!
But humanity had its very own worth! And I didn't want to just throw
my whole life away! I had worked a lot to get a good education and
a good job. I liked my job! And I had earned our house in hard labour.
I just didn't wanted to destroy everything now!
Oh dear! This old working-song again! But there wasn't only work
and labour in life! There were hardworking horses and there were
lazy lions who just took what they needed. Preys and predators!
Since I had become Vipriss, my days as a prey were over!
But what about the other predators?
I was powerful! If there really were any other monsters, I would
defeat them easily! Just by hiding I couldn' evolve, I couldn't train
my deadly powers. And if I really wasn't strong enough, I could
always return to the Oinment Store and get another power from
another oil...
I slithered to a mirror at the wall and marveled at my vision of beauty
and power. This incredible creature was definitely no prey anymore!
And the world should know that!
I decided to go to the mall the next morning and give our townfolk
a little demonstration of my true powers! And to make things even
more striking and haunting for the people, I decided to return to the
Ointment Store during this night already.
So I changed back into my sexy, evil human form and (after staring
at my hypnothical breasts for a while) I got into my car and took off
to Chinatown.
Surprisingly, the old shop-keeper was still there and seemed to wait
for me. Perhaps he wanted to advise or warn me about something?
Or he wanted to prevent me from taking another oil?
It didn't matter. As soon as he saw my magical breasts, his eyes went
blank and he didn't bother me anymore. These breasts were really cool!
*giggle*
I looked through the shop and found some oils that seemed interesting.
But which one should I take?
