"Wait," Stephanie said, thinking over he last words, "I think I just said Block twice," she said as she tapped a finger to her muzzle. "Yeah, Third Floor, Sixth Block, Twelfth Suite," she rethought where it was she was trying to go. "But as long as I'm here…" she spoke aloud to herself, looking over the signs, "Might as well check out the place on the card."
Stephanie turned and headed for the direction of the Sixth Block which was only one hallway away if she went counter-clockwise. She pushed apart a back of teenaged boys as she made her way around the Food Court without excusing herself. One of them ran up and grabbed her by the arm and jerked her back around to look at him, "Watch where you're going, bitch."
She looked the human boy up and down, and then at all his friends. She sighed, thinking these boys were all boring. "Don't touch me, furless," she kind of hissed, reaching back with her other hand then raking her white claws across his face. He yelled out in pain, blood trickling down his face from where she'd clawed him open, but she was more interested in her hand that she'd just noticed had while nail polish. "Hm. Neat," she said as she turned away from the boys and continued her walk.
"You think you can do that and get away with it?" someone else called from behind her. She just shrugged and continued walking, reaching the opening to Sixth Block.
"Ah, the Black Market," she smiled, looking around. In some ways, it looked like all the other halls in the mall, but there was a distinctive soot or ash small to it, and all the railings and floor tiles seemed to give off a bit of a blackness about them. It was almost as if the malevolent energies of the area tainted it and everyone within it.
"You think you can just ignore us?" another male voice from just behind her asked. She could tell that the rest of the boys were all grouped right behind her, but she did't look back. She kept looking over all the stores, most notably AmmuNation which had a giant Red White and Blue American flag pained all across the windows and walls of the second floor balcony on one side.
She turned her head a bit and walked along the store front of Terminator Tech on the first floor. Inside were a lot of different robot shells and mobile battle tanks and such. There were boxes of servos and replacement limbs, and all kids of science fiction things she had yet to see in The Kingdom.
She turned around and the boys were all standing in a line behind her, even the one with the cut open face who was holding his jaw. She smirked and pushed through them to look at NewGenes which was also on the first floor, opposite Terminator Tech. There weren't a lot of displays as much as there seemed to be images depicting Before and After. Lots of changes to eye color, skin tone, species, and even gender. On that note, she wondered if Denise would like her better as a boy… hm.
Beyond that, she saw a sign that said "Make Your Own Laws" was a store up on the third floor. She wondered if that was her destination, but otherwise shrugged it off for the moment. There were so many stores and so much to see and do… but what would be best for her goals of mayhem and world domination?
"Well… what'll it be?" the lead boy who stood in front of his wounded friend, just in front of her, asked.
