Setting the Chronivac Version 4.0 on the computer, Alex casually scrolled the various options available. As he moved through one screen after another, it eventually came to him what he could do with this program. "If, indeed, it does what it claims," Alex thought skeptically.
Opening a separate window, he clicked on the bookmarks and headed for his favourite furry site. Scrolling through, he eventually came to the part he liked and for a moment he just sat and looked at all the anthropomorphic foxes pictured. And then, as if waking from a pleasant dream, he reminded himself about the Chronivac Version 4.0 and minimised the browser window.
Pulling the Chronivac program back up, he began to enter various commands and pull different windows...all the while making changes to his life and how the people around him viewed him.
First, Alex changed his species to Fox and when the command prompt appeared, he shifted it from normal to anthropomorphic with the ability to easily walk or run on four legs if the need ever arose. Next he shifted to a new window and adjusted the fur colouring from the white of an Arctic fox to the Red of a common red fox...complete with the white on the tip of the tail and the black fur covering the feet and hands.
Satisfied, he pulled up the next list of options and from that he shifted his hands from the normal of four fingers and a thumb to three fingers and a thumb. After that he changed his feet so that they only contained three toes and were digigrade. Satisfied, he saved this and moved on.
His eyes Alex decided would be a deep brown colour and then as an after thought, went back and shifted the colour on his ears from red to black.
Through one page after another, always making one meticulous changes after another, determined to get this right and that he would become a true Anthropomorphic Fox, while his parents would remain human and there would be no question on how two humans could birth something that is clearly outside their species. Shifting to a new page, he changed his parents income to the high spectrum of middle class and then finally, after what seemed like hours, Alex came to the final page.
Reading over everything printed before him, Alex became curious about something and then on the page he shifted his sex and gender to female, his maximum height to five foot seven and his max weight to about one hundred and seven. Next he shifted his name to Alexa and made it so no one around him was aware of the changes and everyone just accepted him as a female Anthropomorphic Fox.
Next to he slid the time that it would take to fully change to five days, wanting to fully see what it would be like to completely change and that his penis and testicles would be the last to change.
Satisfied, he looked over the options he had selected, made sure that there were no loop holes or flaws and that he would become a fifteen year old Anthropomorphic Vixen with a human intelligence of about one hundred and fifty one. Satisfied, he clicked on the 'Accept' button...missing in the process that the awareness for him was still set on the low end of the spectrum, giving him only a dim view of what was happening until the change was complete and then he'd forget completely his previous life...and watched as everything flashed across the screen.
Looking at the start menu for the Chronivac Version 4.0, Alex clicked the program off, took the disk out and placed it safely inside his desk. As turned off the computer, he asked himself, "I wonder what the first thing to change will be and how living as a girl will be different."
Standing, he stretched and decided he didn't want to be inside all day and exiting his room, he made his way downstairs and out the front door...wandering aimlessly with no set destination and wondering what the first thing to change would be.
