Not knowing what else to do, Jen proceeded to her first class in the computer lab. She felt terribly embarrassed about being covered in fluffy white wool, having hooves for feet, and worst of all, bleating when she spoke. But no one else was treating it as anything unusual or surprising, so it could have been much worse.
Besides, if she didn't go, she might run into someone who wanted to know what was going on, and who knows what they'd unknowingly make the curse do.
The class began like any other day. Jen said hello to her friend Emma, and they made small talk for a few minutes before class begun. Jen didn't want to speak because she hated the sound of herself bleating, but being silent would cause more problems. Jen knew it was because of the curse, but she still felt it was really strange how Emma didn't say anything about Jen's condition. She was grateful that at least Emma didn't trigger the curse by telling her to do anything.
Jen was unable to concentrate on her work. She couldn't stop thinking about what Kyle has done to her. She had to think of someway to beat the curse and become normal again, not to mention getting revenge on Kyle. But she couldn't think of anything. Her thoughts were interrupted by Emma shivering.
"I hate this class", Emma said to Jen. "I know it's because of all the computers, but it's still so cold in here. I can't stand it."
Jen nodded. She always felt that way too. Both girls liked wearing skimpy outfits to school and hated how high the AC was turned up in the room. "Yeah, Emma-a-a. I ha-a-ate it too-o-o." She suddenly realized that she was so preoccupied that she hadn't noticed it wasn't bothering her today, but her smile disappeared once she remembered the reason why.
"Really? I would have thought your wool would have kept you warm." Jen felt her heart sink at how matter-of-factly her friend treated her being a sheep girl.
"I gue-e-ess it does."
Emma shivered again. "You must love that, huh, Jen?"
"No-o-o-o!" Jen exclaimed. "I ha-a-a..." Then the curse began to kick in. Why was there anything to be embarrassed about? Being turned into a sheep girl was the best thing that ever happened to her! She'd have to remember to thank Kyle after she was done getting her revenge. That little jackass's curse was still horrible, but it had also led to her feeling better than she ever had before.
"Actually, Emma-a-a, I do. I just wi-i-ish you could fe-e-el how great this is."
